Paco Martínez –
Bien sur la corde grave de MI…plus grosse (50), très agréable à jouer. De bonnes cordes.
David Flint –
I recently put these strings on my Gibson Les Paul and am happy with them. Definitely brightened up the sound of the guitar. Great price for good quality strings!

Tenia mis dudas sobre comprar estas cuerdas ya que no se mucho sobre cuerdas de guitarra. Al usarlas en una guitarra electrica, me gustó el sonido que resultaba. Ademas, son comodas al estitarlas. Recomendadas y ademas buen precio
Courtney –
The strings area great very responsive got them on Two guitars and love them but I still can’t play as well as David Gilmore. Must be the picks he uses😳

Hi. I used D’addario strings for years, but then they started to break on me. (Maybe that’s why D’addario starting issuing those more expensive variants of strings). Also, I had some Ernie ball strings break, but not as often. Ernie’s are dang good. For the price, GHS strings are just fine, and as for this unusual gauge of strings 10.5 – 50, it’s great that Dave Gilmour endorsed them, but it could have been Bozo the Clown for all I cared. A cool set of strings, these 10.5-50, that I keep onhand for two of my guitars, a strat and a Mosrite copy. Return to the mothership, Putin and Trump.

Goo For the price

Silky is the word that comes to mind when I play these strings. These blue pack strings are best for passive pickups (Gilmours’ black strat ) and the red pack strings are for Gilmour active pickups like his red strat
that is my understanding at least. These blue pack strings are full of tone and do come alive when you get on it. In contrast, when I play Fender strings,I think of the word chirpy, which is nice too. These blue pack strings are silky and lush,a nice variety to have, but i blab on.

I can definitely see what Gilmour would use this particular set, they have such a smooth bend, and a crisp tone that sustains for a long time. I was just looking for a set for my new HSS strat, and David Gilmour’s name sold me on this one. I’ve bought 5 packs of these now, I definitely like them. One bad thing, they seem to wear out a little quicker than other strings and loose that super crisp tone faster than I like. They’re cheap though, so you’ll have to weigh out if that’s worth it yourself!

They feel good right outta the box
DW –
Great strings. Love the tone. They don’t last too terribly long, but still worth it.

Buenísimas cuerdas y de muy buena calidad
Andy Briceno –
Been using a set of 10s for about two months. I bought these mainly because of the price, the name David Gilmour, and also because I wanted to try GHS strings. I bought 10s although I usually use 9s from another brand.
These seem like very good quality strings. Tone is fine. Have had some problems with strings binding in the nut but I think it’s because the nut was cut for 9s and it’s not a problem with the strings themselves. They hold tune well. They also seem to resist corrosion better than some other well known brands.
I generally prefer 9s for bending but haven’t had problems bending with these (other than binding in the nut which is a nut problem and not a string problem). Still I’d be hesitant to recommend these 10s for a blues based player whose bread and butter is bends.
