I bought this two pack of ropes for at home use during quarantine and they have been great! The rope is a licorice rope, or in other words has a rubber covering over the rope and is quite durable so far. I have already done 10,000 skips or so on a hard driveway and it is holding up well, just slightly texturing it which is to be expected. The handles are hollow so you could easily add weight if you wanted which is another benefit. The spin is decent, not like a speed rope and workable and though I am not too skilled at them I can still do double unders. I am 6′ 2″ with average length arms and legs and the rope works for me. It is nearly too short as I do hit my head periodically. It is likely due to improper technique but it can be an issue at times. I have always been told rope handles should come to armpit for proper length, these handles hit me just below my nipples. Definitely a solid rope and great for outdoor use! Will buy again but with two of them I should be good for hundreds of thousands of skips/jumps at least.

I’m 70 years old and I needed something I could do with my 13 year old grandson who lives with me, is autistic, and fears the outdoors. He spends too much time (my opinion only) on his PC and not enough time moving. We jump rope in the lower level of my home where the ceiling is high. We’re both short (under 5ft) so we can get away with it 🙂

If you are looking around Amazon you definitely have seen this type of skipping rope for sale. In fact, there are probably 30+ sellers selling the same thing. Well this is one of those, and comes at a very low price due to it being a dual pack. I needed two so this fit the bill. The bearings feel kinda cheap and the handles are plastic, but it does the job. The rope is decently heavy and works well. All in all a great deal and ships fast. I needed this to start a workout program at home and I needed it quick. It came just in time at a very affordable price.

Easy to use.

A recent study shows that 10 minutes of intense jump roping equals about 30 minutes of running in terms of efficiency. I believe it’s because you use more muscles to jump rope than to run. I started jump roping over the past year using a fitness rope we had laying around. After about a month of consistent jumping the handle cut into the rope and eventually severed it. For Christmas I wanted a rope that had bearings in the handle to hopefully stop the cutting. This rope has a very good weight, is easy to adjust the length and best of all has bearings in the very comfortable handles making the spin extremely smooth and cut free. I recommend it if you’re looking to get into some jump rope fitness.

As a 5’11” male, I’ve had trouble finding a jump rope that didn’t make me crouch, mid-air to avoid catching on my feet or smacking me in the neck. Though this product offers adjustable length, i find the “factory setting” to be perfect. It is, indeed, lightweight (I’m actually considering adding some weight to the hollow handles to increase the upper body workout) and easy to use. Ive only been training with it for about 2 weeks, but it seems durable enough (after all, im not slamming the handles on the concrete and haven’t run over it with my car…yet…).
For the money, an excellent purchase.

Llegó rápido y funcionó bien. Pero no duró mucho.

Great value for the price. Good weight of the rope and nice touch to the handles. Had a hard time cutting redundant rope cause there were cords inside and you cannot easily cut it without a proper cutting tool. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase.

It’s a simple cable jump rope. It is very light weight and it’s easy enough to adjust the length. It does have a bearing in each handle to help make sure the cable doesn’t gett all twisted up. Durability seems like it might be an issue. The plastic that is used for the handles seems to be a cheap brittle plastic that may crack just by dropping it on some hard floor. For the price though I can’t complain too much.

Easy to adjust, good for beginners like myself 🙂

This is a great jump rope overall. It’s got a metal cord coated in rubber. The metal cord gives it a good weight and stops it from tangling. Not too heavy, not too light. I shortened one of them for my 7 yr old son, it helps to have a wire cutter to shorten as the metal cord is a little thick for scissors.

When I first got these I was a bit concerned of the large diameter of the handles. I realized quickly that both ends have screw-on caps that secure the rope into the handle, which would have been fine had I known that before I started jump roping and the rope immediately came undone from the loose screw cap, whipping me in the face.
I jump rope every day for about 30 minutes and one lasted just shy of a month before the rope tore off the end cap piece that keeps it secured into the handle.
The screws had come off a number of times to the point where I had to consciously secure the end caps in place with my grip just to be sure they wouldn’t unfasten, which takes you out of the zone leaving you paranoid one might come undone.
I wouldn’t recommend these as the end caps themselves come loose far too often and the rope can fly off in any direction, and they hit you they will hurt! If you jump rope casually these might be fine, but if you jump rope every day as much as I do then I would find another pair.
