I waited a little time prior to a review. Been 3 months of pretty consistent use. Only time will truly tell, but right now Iโm happy with my purchase. Mine cooks the toast just right – havenโt had that issue as others noted. It does get hot (very, very hot) on the top & sides. So Iโm just hyper aware of that fact when using it. No biggie. It cooks like it should & I honestly have no complaints at this time. Iโd recommend it.

I have purchased several toaster/ovens in the past and this unit is far and away the best. The convenience of having a separate (built-in toaster) as part of the over all oven oven design is great. It has performed as advertised- and more. Toaster ovens don’t ordinarily have a long life- I have used this unit almost every day, sometimes twice, for the past 5 years and it is still going strong. It cleans up easily and toasts/heats up/cooks food just fine. All in all, dollar for dollar, I have found it to be the best choice.

I’ve been using this for about a month+ now. Here’s what I know about it.
The controls are easy to use and the instructions do a good job explaining them. It takes up some countertop space but that’s evident from the listing and was expected. It looks nice. The outside gets warm but not stupid hot when it’s in use.
It toasts, but it takes a long time to do so. Even at the ‘darkest’ setting I had to use two of it’s timer cycles to toast standard sandwich bread that had been refrigerated. The slot is wide and deep so it toasts large pieces of bread or bagels, but smaller pieces of bread can be difficult to remove. The Broil function is impeded by the presence of the toaster mechanism so it broils decently toward the front and rear but not in the center of the oven. Broiling also takes a lot of time. As an oven, I used it to reheat leftovers. The reheating gives the same result as broiling – warmer toward the front and back, cooler in the center.
I will be putting this doodad in the RV for use on the road where the time it takes to toast my English muffins or reheat last night’s barbecue is less of a concern, and just getting a decent toaster for the home kitchen to replace this unit.

This item is much better made than the previous Hamilton Beach toaster oven we had. The controls are better marked and the markings are more durable.
The integrated toaster works well. It does take a few tries to see what to set the darkness level to.
The toaster oven is a good size and heats quickly.
So far, we are happy with this product.

Love that it is a toaster and oven in one. The toaster option works great for waffles, for toasting bread and bagels. The oven works well, just remember to switch it from toaster to oven otherwise it will not work. I do wish it cooked the food quicker. We had another mini oven that cooked the food much faster but we liked the 2 in one option of this one. It is a little bigger than our previous countertop oven but doesn’t affect us much. We have been using it for about 3 weeks and no complaints yet. Just keep in mind that the tray will make a popping sound and bend a bit after the first use.

I bought this in 2020 and it’s still working perfectly. It’s a really convenient space saver. I love it. My ONLY wish is that the product team would come up with a way to alert the mindless user that the slide needs to be moved over to Oven if you really expect to bake something. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve set the temp and time, heard the ding and gone to pick up my meal only to discover that it’s stone cold because I forgot to move that slide. It doesn’t matter the OTHER way, because if it’s set to Oven you can’t put bread in the nice big slot on top. What do you say, product team? I’d buy a new one in a flash, even if you had to raise the price to add that little feature.

Update: I changed the rating from 4 stars to 5. After about two months the main complaint of toast not being brown on the bottom has changed. I’m not sure why, but the toast is now evenly brown all over an dit browns quicker than before. ??? Maybe the elements needed to “burn in”? Whatever the problem was, it seems to be resolved now. Hooray!
Our toaster bit the dust and we haven’t had a toaster oven in years so we thought it was a clever idea to combine both and it is with one drawback (the bottom 1/2″ -1″ so of the toast doesn’t brown due to the placement of the elements. It’s not a dealbreaker for me because what it does brown is nice and even. The whole slice feels toasted, it’s just not all brown. (see update above) You need to hold the toaster lever down for a couple seconds for it to catch and start toasting. You can’t just push it down and release. I like that there is a cancel button and you can lift the toast slightly to help in removing it. It’s handy that you can toast different shapes of bread in the wide slot.
I like the overall size of this oven. It doesn’t take up a lot of space in the kitchen. Not much more than the large 4 slice toaster we had. The controls are easy to use and not complicated like some. You do have to turn on the timer to get the oven to work. It has a pleasant timer alert, a must for my husband. Note, the alert only works with the oven, not the toaster. I like that the toaster part closes when not in use by pushing a lever. The oven heats up quickly. We’ve used the broiler a lot and it works great. I like that you can prop the door partly open to allow heat to dissipate after use. I bought a set of pans made for toaster ovens and am glad I did. It makes it much more versatile.
My only real issue is that the whole thing gets quite hot. We didn’t put it under a low overhanging cabinet for that reason. You don’t want to touch the edges of door (the handle is fine) or outside parts of the oven when taking food out. I got several small burns when I used it the first couple times. I’m more aware now.
Overall it’s a great little toaster/oven and we’re happy with our choice.
