i had no idea! none! i had no clue that pressure cooking is so amazing, and i’m kind of mad. i’ve been using multi-cookers for years but never one that had a pressure cooker option, and now i will never be without one. it’s incredible. i am getting rid of my crockpot/multicooker and just using this for everything. one of my favorite surprises has been what you can with frozen food. i completely thawned a pound of beef in 20 minutes. i cooked a pot roast from completely frozen in 1.5 hours and it was incredible. the meat shredded in an amazing way and it was delicious. i am so happy with i know now because i regularly forget to thaw a thing. i will say that the lid is my nemesis – i regularly put it on wrong – and you know it’s wrong because the whole device will not work if it is on wrong. it’s infuriating when i can’t get it right. it’s not the device’s fault – i can only blame myself of being dumb but i can honestly say that if you’re having issues getting it to go – it’s probably the lib. i think give it a 90-180 degree turn and then starting over – you’ll probably fix your issue this has been such a fun add to the kitchen. everything i have made has turned out so good – i can’t wait to try the next recipe.

This pressure cooker/multi function cooker worked amazing at first. I was deeply in love with the temperature probe and how it could manage to cook chicken perfectly every single time, which sometimes can be a problem when you’re making large batches of chicken in a pressure cooker not to overcook it.
Unfortunately, after two months of use, the temperature probe that I loved so much stopped working. All the other features seem to still work on this pressure cooker, but for the price, it really breaks my heart that the temperature probe no longer seems to be functioning correctly.

The second time we used this, it did not work at all. Unfortunately, it was only 6 days past the Amazon return date, so we contacted Hamilton Beach. The company said they would send a new one within 15 days.
On the 16th day, we contacted them again, but this time they said the item was out-of-stock, so we should select another item of equal or lesser value, and we would have to pay the shipping for it!! Apparently, Hamilton Beach does not stand by their products!!
The problem was that the unit did make any steam.
Ultimately, we contacted Amazon, and they offered an acceptable solution. That’s why we shop with Amazon!

This is my first experience with a pressure cooker and it couldn’t have been a better one. The resident chef managed to brown and cook a 1.5lb pork tenderloin (cut in half) in a total time span of 24 minutes. She browned it for 10, cooked it at high pressure for 4, and let it sit in the cooker while it naturally released pressure for 10. She even used the cooker to make the sauce for the tenderloin. The end result couldn’t have been any better. The setup was a little confusing. The cage that goes over the steam release valve on the inside of the lid came attached, but the manual says we have to screw it on. It came on very tight too. The manual could’ve also been a bit more detailed and included information that would’ve been helpful for first-time owners. That was our only real problem. The chef is looking forward to cooking other dishes with it, and I’m looking forward to trying them out!

This pressure cooker is a game changer for me. It’s everything I need in one cooking gadget. I love that I can also sauté in the same cooker without having to get another pot dirty or turn on my stove top. It works perfectly. I also love the two pressure mode options. I made red beans using the high pressure setting and it cooked even and perfect. It’s extremely easy to use and navigate. The instructions booklet is detailed. It even has a clean button. Very easy. Just follow the instructions and let it do it’s thing. This pressure cooker is well made, durable and functional. I highly recommend it.
