I originally purchased a smaller slo cooker and found it too small for my needs. I purchased this item because it can handle most of the food I use due to the larger size. Works well with any recipe I have tried.

I’ve been using the Hamilton Beach 6-Quart Slow Cooker for a while now, and it’s become a kitchen essential for me! I’ve used it to make stews and brisket, and both turned out amazing.
The 6-quart size is perfect for larger meals or batch cooking. I can easily fit a big cut of brisket or enough stew to feed my family with leftovers to spare. The 3 cooking settings (low, high, and warm) give me the flexibility to slow cook all day or speed things up when I’m short on time.
What I love most is how easy it is to use. Just set it and forget it! The meat comes out tender and flavorful every time, and the warm setting keeps everything at the perfect temperature until we’re ready to eat.

La tapa no sella, solo está sobrepuesta sin ningún tipo de material que preserve el vapor, por eso el líquido se va evaporando (mucho). Inicié mi cocción de caldo de huesos de 48 hrs y a las 36 horas literalmente había disminuido a la mitad el líquido inicial, fue muy decepcionante, no pude terminar toda la cocción, además de que tuve la sensación de que calienta más los alimentos que la otra slowcooker de la marca más conocida. O sea que es lenta cocción pero no tan lenta como la competencia. Si quieres probar recetas etc esto te puede servir, pero para ir más allá no es opción.

I just bought this product. Was excited to make pot roast in it. I would suggest using the low setting if you plan on letting it cook while you’re at work. My pot roast was over cooked after only 8 hours, but still good. It heats well, fits perfectly, and looks great in my kitchen. Left my house full of the wonderful smells of good food!

This is really nice. The inner basket is heavy and very good quality. Easy clean up. Works great. I didn’t want anything fancy or deal with electronic stuff so this one is the winner. Very large inside and holds a lot. There is also a warm temp for keeping food warm. Would buy again.
