I loved this slow cooker. Been wanting one for a long time! I made chili in it yesterday. I worked REALLY WELL. I loved the digital timer and the fact that it automatically shuts off but goes to warm to keep your food warm. I love that it sears, sautes, and you can cook rice in it as well. I feel good about it and it was a great investment. No problems with it so far!

After being extremely disappointed by our Hamilton Beach 7qt portable crock pot that only lasted for five uses,and ended up in the trash because I didn’t save the box it came in we couldn’t be happier with this model, only wish it was a 7qt, other than that we love how the outside of the crockpot stays cool (no more burnt fingers, or melted objects that were to close to it) the instructions were a little confusing at first, but we finally figured them out, Love the lightweight non-stick insert, very easy to clean, can’t wait to try some of the other cooking options. So far both of these Hamilton Beach crockpots have cooked our meals quicker than the time the recipes called for, one example, a three pound boneless butterball turkey set for four hours probably was done to the correct temperature at around 3 and 1/2 hours. We highly recommend this model, and are seriously considering buying another to have as a backup, but only wish we had the option to buy a seven quart model.

I bought this to replace an older traditional slow cooker. Specifically, I wanted one I could brown meat in so that I didn’t have to dirty a separate pan (and my stovetop) and then transfer to the crockpot. This slow cooker meets that requirement and much more. Not only can I brown meat, I can saute onions and other veggies, and I can raise the heat at the end of cooking time to add thickeners to stews and sauces. It truly is one pot cooking. On slow cooker low and high, I can set a timer and when time is up, it automatically switches to warm. This cooker has other functions I haven’t used yet for steaming and roasting, and it cooks rice. It also has a delayed start timer. It’s larger than a regular crockpot, but it’s not overly heavy because the cooking container is light-weight metal with a non-stick coating, making it super easy to clean. It comes with clear, printed instructions, which are a must-read to understand how to use the timer for different functions. This small appliance is going to stay out on my counter because I’m going to get a lot of use out of it. It’s exactly what I wanted!

I love this multi cooker as it’s a great product and looking forward to all the future recipes and meals that will come however I wish I would have read all the reviews and features before purchasing it. I’m looking for a slow cooker with a delay start feature and while this multi cooker has a delay start feature, it’s only for 3 of the 9 features (it’s for the white rice, whole grain and steam ONLY) and I need the delay start for the slow cooker. This is still a wonderful product and will definitely get used and added to my slow cooker “collection” lol. One thing I’d like to add is how easy it is to clean, the non stick pot is super way to clean and also dishwasher safe. It’s shiny stainless steel base is also an easy wipe down to clean and looks great if you have to leave it out in the countertop.

It’s me. I’m the person who throws away dishes and appliances if they are too hard to clean. I really tried with the crockpot brand crocks and even got liners but whether beef stew or white chicken chili, the baked on caked on mess was insurmountable. I got this bless-ed Hamilton Beech slow cooker and will never look back. It’s my ride or die Beech.
This BEECH is extremely easy to clean. I have avoided non-stick my whole life out of toxicity anxiety but who knows how long anyone will live anymore after the tripledemic, I can now clean my crock pot without having a meltdown.
This BEECH also seems to cook faster than other crockpots I’ve tossed. I had dry black beans perfectly soft and ready on high in 4 hours no muss no fuss.
I’m just relieved okay. I was never happy to toss an appliance and be wasteful, but I have had such ease with this cooker that perhaps my toss days are over.
