LetsTalk10 –
This is a nice underlever air rifle. Something to hang onto and pass on.

I got the .177 used and in great condition. This is a fabulous rifle. Heavy and really powerful. Even 7 gr pellets want to go supersonic CRRRAK! I’ve had some trouble with the magazines. I damaged them by using some pointed pellets that stopped the spring tensioned wheel from turning properly. Also had trouble understanding the instructions on how to load the magazines. Really just stupidity and impatience on my part.
Make sure the brass pin/pump handle catch in front is tightened down good. It has a knob on both sides – one is threaded on to the pin and mine came loose and fell off. Found it and put it back on with some Locktite. The Bear Trap safety mechanism latch also has a threaded pin in the middle that came off. The latch arm popped off and landed right in front of me. Lost the nut. But found a small enough lock nut in my odd nuts and bolts collection.
One more thing… make sure the pump lever is pulled ALL THE WAY ’till the gun is fully cocked. Sometimes it needs one extra little pull. The so called Bear Trap or anti flip back mecanism will catch sometimes before the cocking mecanism engages at the end of the pull.

Pros:
It’s a beautiful gun. The stock (walnut) is gorgeous. The iron sights are good. The pellet magazine is useful. The support techs were great, and they replaced my original rifle when it loaded up with pellets stuck in the bore.
Cons:
It’s hard to cock, it’s been said but this takes some oumph to cock and it gets tiring. Iron sites are fixed, good luck getting a scope on it.
In closing – I’m not sure I’d buy this rifle again, but I do really like it.
