I recently purchased this light and I love it. It’s light weight, easy to attach onto the aquarium, and the neck of the light easily swivels. And what I like most about it is, it’s surprisingly bright for something small and compact. This is ideal for a marine or planted tank. The only thing I do not like about the light is that it states on the box that the lights are adjustable. Looking around the light itself I could not find a dimmer switch or any type of adjustable knob. Even though I could not find a dimmer switch I love the design and and brightness this light provides. This aquarium light is ideal to new aquarium hobbyist because it’s easy to assemble and attach to your aquarium.

I did a lot of research on aquarium lights and this one was most suitable for my needs. I have an air stone in my ten gallon tank that agitates the water and causes a significant amount of splash at the surface; this light is great as it sits far enough above the surface so as not to get splashed much (and thus wrecked). The day setting is very bright, and I love the night mode blue LEDs – it makes my fish and tank look gorgeous! It was very easy to attach to the tank and feels very sturdy and well made. I have no complaints and would repurchase in the future

New to aquariums, I was nervous it wouldn’t fit my rimmed 10 gallon tank but it’s perfect! Lights up the tank beautifully!

Very easy to install. Strong neck allows for flexibility but is sturdy and holds the light bar in place. Perfect for my 5 gallon tank. Low tech but that’s what I like about it. Simple but does the trick. I would recommend for small planted aquarium.

They discontinued the lights for my hood. This was a great solution! Plug and play! Easily clipped to the side of my tank frame. Love the blue light option.

This is a great quality light that seems to light up the tank very well. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a dimmer to use in the mornings and evenings.

I got this light for my seahorse tank. My softy corals are doing great! The quality on the light is fantastic. I love how the bendable arm has a sleeve so that you don’t have to worry about the salt creep rusting that part of the light. I also love the fact that there is a switch to turn the light off and on, and to run just the blues or the blues and the whites. A lot of the clip-on style lights, you have to just unplug them and that’s so frustrating. These lights are pretty bright for what they are. And they are definitely worth the money, you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck.

I had a hard time finding the right lighting solution for my custom 35-gallon paludarium. I tried a few options that didn’t work until I find these. It’s like they were made for the tank. They look great on the tank and a reasonably bright, but not so much that I’m scared of excessive algae issues. I’m glad to have found something relatively inexpensive that works well for what I need. Sure, there are brighter lights out there, but it stays secure to my tank, the gooseneck is sturdy and stays where I position it, and they have a low profile. If you can’t suspend lighting and don’t want to have a bar hanging over your tank, I think this is a great option.

There’s nothing fundamentally wrong with this light, it was just far too big and bright for my 4 gallon cube tank. The light was so bright every time I turned it on my fish would hide. Also, I have a rimless tank, and attaching this light to the glass was kind of scary– the screws they give you to attach the light are super rough and not very durable, so I was worried I was gonna scratch the glass, and it didn’t hold securely enough so I had to stick on some padding on the side where the screws attached to protect the glass. Ended up having to return it because it wasn’t serving the purpose I’d hoped it would.
HOWEVER, if you have a big (5 gallon and up) tank with thick, durable glass– i think this light would be great for you! It’s seriously bright, and does a good job if used correctly.

Great light! Has white lights and blue lights, hooked them up to a smart plug timer and works perfectly! ( I HAVE NOW GONE THROUGH TWO OF THESE LIGHTS AND TBEY HAVE NOT MADE IT PAST 6 MONTHS. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED. I TRIED TO GIVE THIS PRODUCT THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT WHEN THE FIRST ONE STOPPED WORKING AND GOT A REPLACEMENT BUT NOW THE SECOND ONE HAS GONE OUT. ) And of course it’s been two long to get it replaced AGAIN.

This light is an excellent deal and superb quality! It is easy to mount on your tank and produces great lighting. I set the light up on a 20 gallon long tank and it lights it beautifully. The light seems very sturdy and one of the best parts about it is how flexible it is. You have the ability to curve and turn the light how you please. The light also adjusts from white light to a calm moonlight tone. Easy to switch on and off, just a simple button. I would purchase this again for my other tanks!

I love this little light. It’s probably meant for small tanks but I used it on a 40 breeder with great results. There are 2 modes controlled by a switch on the back: blue night lights and bright white/blue combination, which looks really cool over black sand. It comes with a convenient clamp on the side to help keep it secured to the rim. The lamp is connected to the clamp by a bendable neck that holds its form at whatever angle its set without issues. The clamp is meant for smaller tanks and too narrow to fit around the rim on a 40g, but it’s plenty bright and works well if you are looking to set it on a larger tank like I did. Normally the beamswork leds I use tend to get a little warm, but I’ve never had an issue with this lamp. It’s thick and sturdy too which is surprising for such a small fixture, but it’s not too heavy either. Highly recommended.

The light itself is fine, but what bugs me to no end about all of these companies that supposedly excel in making aquarium products is this: they manufacture a light to clip on to the side of the aquarium WITHOUT taking into consideration the thickness of the freakin AQUARIUM. The light “clips on”, but to WHAT, exactly? Not the side of my aquarium, that’s for sure. There’s nothing abnormal about my aquarium-it’s glass with the black trim around the top-and yet this light that’s supposed to “clip on” DOESN’T because the clip itself won’t accomodate the top of the aquarium itself. It’s just stupid. Would it not be better to make a clip that’s too wide, then make sure the tightening screw is long enough to tighten it down properly, than to make one that’s too small? Makes sense to me. And yet that’s apparently too difficult for the manufacturer to figure out somehow. I’ve tried clipping this light on to every part of the aquarium that looked like it might work in hopes that “I” was the idiot who missed something, but that’s not the case, it just won’t go. So now I have to actually build something to clip the light to and then attach THAT to my aquarium just so I can attach the light to the aquarium. Again, it’s just a stupid design, and one that defeats the purpose of being “convenient”. If you have an aquarium with no trim at the top it’ll probably work fine for you, but if not then either don’t bother with this or be prepared to rig something to make it work. The sad part is they’re ALL like this—none of these lights actually clip on to the average aquarium. I don’t get it.
