This review is for Garage Storage Shelves,3-Tier Garage Shelving with Adjustable Shelves Metal Shelving Heavy Duty Shelving Unit Storage for Racks Tool Utility Shelf Industrial Warehouse,31.46″x31.46″x15.73″Black.
The shelf quality is very good. It is nice and sturdy once assembled. I also like that you don’t have to bolt or screw anything. It is all slip fits. Just make sure you look at the dimensions of the ones you are ordering because the scale of the pictures is very deceiving.
The whole assembly process needs some reworking. I ended up with about 16 extra plastic pieces than I needed. Not sure why so many were included. Take those out and knock down the price a few bucks. The most annoying part was the instructions. It only has 2/3rds of the steps on there. I had to figure out the rest by looking at the photo.

Ordered this shelf system for toy storage so I can organize toys and games we have in rotation. It allows me to easily organize toys.
I found the shelves were easy to assemble and pretty quick as well. There are no screws or bolts to assemble. A hammer and gloves are provided to assist with assembly. I didn’t use either one though. There was no need for the gloves since the edges are smooth on everything and since the finish of the metal is textures, it did not slip and slide. I did it by myself and it was not necessary to have a 2nd person. You can customize the height of the shelves for your particular storage needs.
It has a nice matte hammered finish. At first, the metal seemed a little thin but after assembly I can see why it’s “heavy duty” since it can hold a lot of weight. I waited to post a review to see how well the shelves did with all the weight. So far, 5 weeks later we have not had any issues and are happy with the unit. I really appreciate the shelves are solid which makes for easy cleaning. Also, nothing falls through (yes, I’m talking about LEGOS!) and the shelves are adjustable.
I like these so much I am planning on ordering a 2nd unit for remaining toys and supplies. Perfect for all the overage of toys and household items. Recommend!

So happy with this purchase. Bought 3-pack of these shelves and they fit bins, suitcases, boxes super well. Our handy man assembled and installed these shelves but it only took him 3 hours! He said it was pretty easy.

The shelves came well packaged and there were no dings or bent metal noticed. The shelves are fabricated from formed 22-gauge steel by my measurements. The legs have rolled edges giving them additional strength. They are finished with a hammered glossy dark grey finish.
The unit has an innovative (to me, anyway) and fast easy way to assemble the shelves without screws. Using just a hammer, the shelves are tapped into slotted holes in the legs. Once in place, the shelves are firmly attached. A tiny child size plastic hammer was supplied but your best bet is to use a rubber mallet or hammer and a wooden block. The entire unit went together quickly. The resulting shelving unit was rock solid.
An easy-to-read assembly booklet is supplied along with two mounting brackets with screws and anchors should you want to fasten it to a wall. Rubber pads slot into the legs for protection. I was impressed with the ease of assembly, the solid feel of the shelving and the quality look.

This is a very sturdy shelving unit once it’s assembled, but it can easily bend when initially putting the first few pieces together so be careful. The included mallet is pretty much useless as some of the pieces are a tight fit. I would recommend using an actual rubber mallet to help knock the supports into the slats. They are decent shelves that come with a wall anchor hardware for added safety. Also, be careful as the paint isn’t very thick so it can easily scratch.

I love this shelving. It’s only around ~$30 for the smallest option, which worked out great for me since that’s really the only size I could fit in the space I put it in (open closet space with a knee wall). Out of the box I was a bit worried since it seemed fairly light and the material seemed to bend a bit too easy for my liking, but once I had it all together it became really structurally sound. I’m only using it to store and manage some of my film equipment (scanner, dev chems and equipment, film, a few cameras, filters, and other various pieces) so the weight limit isn’t really a concern, but since I didn’t want it to collapse with my extremely expensive scanner in the middle of the night, I sat on the top part to test it, and it barely even budged if at all. I can’t fully speak to the claim that it can safely hold up to 400 on each level, but I’m around 185lb lean and it had no problem holding me which is a pretty good indicator that that number is at least close to accurate.
Would highly recommend.
