I bought this inexpensive fitness tracker to see if I would like wearing one. I’ve really enjoyed being able to get a ballpark of my steps, blood pressure, O2 sat, and heart rate. The sleep analysis is interesting.

PROS: This fitness tracker is very inexpensive. For the price, I figured I could just pass it along to someone else if I didn’t like it. It does an adequate job of keeping track of steps though it does inflate them a bit compared to what my phone says. The other measurements (BP, O2, heart rate) are in line with my usual readings though I haven’t taken the measurements at the same time to compare. It’s lightweight and the band is comfortable. I have a tiny wrist, and I wear it on the tightest notch. The app has quite a few options. “Do not disturb” allows you to turn off the notifications during certain periods. Various reminders (drink water, sedentary) and an alarm can make life easier.

CONS: The screen was scratched within a day. It’s still readable though. I set it to avoid lighting up when I lift my arm, but the bed sheets still activate it, and this can be blinding at night. The app is easy to use, but it takes a good minute or more to sync with the watch, and that’s the only way you can see your stats for the day. The sleep tracker has been finicky. The first few nights it showed me sleeping for five hours after going to bed at 2AM — very inaccurate. Since then it is at least showing most of my sleep times accurately; however, it shows me getting way more deep sleep than I think I get. I would like to know how it does its calculations. From time to time, it needs a firmware update, and it loses all data for the day when it does this. It’s necessary to let it update and then sync again so that the time will be accurate and tracking will begin.

CONCLUSION: Despite the cons mentioned, I’m enjoying this product. I do wish the sleep tracking worked better and that it didn’t scratch so easily. For $32 it’s hard to miss though.

The media could not be loaded.

I love the slim line design. I got this to track my steps while golfing. I love the ability to see my heart rate too. This is perfect for me for the price and I love the look of it. It shows my steps when I raise my arm. Also measures blood oxygen. It even took my blood pressure which matched my cuff measurements. I was surprised at all the things it could do, skin temperature too. Easy to charge. It also has a free app you can connect to for even more features. Very simple to use.

Watch was very simple to put together probably 10 seconds the first time, and once you know how to take the band off to charge it takes less than 5 seconds to do it. The packaging of the unit was nice and simple in a paper type of box not the difficulty plastic units. The charging to the watch is conducted by removing one of the bands that has an identification icon and plugging it into a USB charger. There was extra instructions in how to do it but honestly if you can’t figure out how to charge it your not really meant to have a fitness tracker or a digital “smart” watch. I just love how you don’t need any cables! The app was very simple to install and went through a quick questioner to set up body measurements. On the wrist it feels great, and I love the slim design of these S5 trackers. The main feature I like is the Sleep tracker, viewing the REM, deep, light, awake in the morning on the app really shines light to my beauty sleep.

It is a great gift that I bought for myself. First, it is easy to use; second, I like all the features including checking temperature, BP, heart rate, BS, tracking steps, sleep analysis, and phone call notifications, etc. It does what I need it to. Great product.

Well, it’s nice looking and comfortable to wear. Battery only lasts about 4 days max. Bought for HR monitoring but it only scans every 15 minutes or you have to wait about 30 seconds to a minute to get an “on demand” reading; not useful if exercising. Totally unusable outdoors, impossible to see screen but hey, if you use indoors and not interested in real time data, this may be for you. App is OK, syncs quickly and pairing with iPhone was a snap. Returned item since the main reason I bought it for, does not work for me

If you are looking for an inexpensive watch that tracks the basics, this is a good value. I only wanted something to monitor my steps and swimming laps, but it measures several other things such as oxygen levels and heart rate. It would be helpful if it had more options in its exercise mode but all the basics are there. It also has a few display options for its face and a clever charge feature.

Edit#2: it’s been 2 months since receiving this product, and as of today 6/24/24, this product is off to the bin. It takes 36 hours to get a full battery charge. It mainly registers ZERO heartbeat or blood pressure, the sleep tracker doesn’t work, and it doesn’t tell the correct time or even track the correct amount of steps taken. It told me I walked 15 miles last week, but only 1873 steps. Waste of money. This is an awful product. Too bad it wasn’t crappy from the get go, I could have gotten a refund.

Edit: Since receiving this product on 4/27/24, it has steadily gone down hill. It’s been about 45 days since I’ve started using the watch. As of 3 days ago it now takes 24 hours to get a full charge. It has stopped tracking sleep which is one of the functions I really wanted. At least three times an hour it says I have no heartbeat and doesn’t register blood pressure. Currently looking for replacement that will actually work and last. Buy at your own risk.

I’ve had this product for a few weeks now. It’s ok. It does track steps, though they do not equate to the miles supposedly walked. It does track heart rate, but several times a day it registers that my heart is not beating, when it clearly is. So far blood pressure tracking has been accurate. The sleep tracker doesn’t always work, maybe half the time, and that is one of the reasons I bought this. I didn’t want to spend a ton, I should have spent more on a better quality device. Currently I still use it, but I am searching for a better quality product that isn’t &200+ dollars.
