Super cute guys! My daughter loved it. It is very easy to operate too and the paper isnโt too bad. I recommend it.

I got this to use for my scrapbook in addition to other crafty projects and it is a pretty cool camera. While it doesnโt print on actual films like the instax mini, it’s still great that it can print instantly. Picture quality is pretty decent-maybe 7.5/10. This is a cool camera for teenagers and anyone who loves taking pictures!

This is a really cute gift for kids. It comes with everything you need to tease it right out of the box and no batteries as you just recharge it from a USB cable. Itโs small and perfect size for a kid. This also looks pretty durable, which is nice. The quality of the pictures is surprisingly great and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who knows any kids that likes to take pictures.

Getting this as a birthday present for my daughter turned out to be quite the adventure! Once we figured out the correct orientation for the paper, it was game onโand before we knew it, the entire roll of paper had disappeared! My daughter and her friends went on a photo-taking spree, capturing everything in sight and leaving a trail of pictures all over the house. Needless to say, I had to set some ground rules to rein in this fun activity a bit. On the bright side, there are a few settings you can adjust for the quality and density of prints, and I made sure to set them to the highest setting by default. Overall, it’s been a fun and creative addition to our household, despite the initial paper roll mishap!

This is such a nice product for kids! I got this for my niece and she was thoroughly excited to use it. It is such a neat gift for children. They feel they can capture moments on their own and print things to their liking in an instant. It was easy to use. The camera is the right size for little hands. A small child will not have any issues handling it. The printing is of really good quality so I was highly impressed. It comes with three rolls of paper so you’ll need more when those hands can’t stop pressing the print button! The screen is clear and easy to see. I love that it comes with a strap to allow the kid carry the camera around safely. There is also a memory card to save photos for later printing. I would highly recommend this product as a gift to small children. They will love it!

Whether you think it’s a good thing or not so good, almost everything kids will encounter these days will include some kind of technology. Calculators, computers, cameras. That all involves reading manuals, or if too young for that, leaning that pushing xyz button results in abc result. This instant camera is no exception, and is a great way to introduce them to that sort of thing. The on-screen menu on the back is MOSTLY intuitive, but does have a little learning curve. My 5 year old needed lots of “help” but my 11 year old, without reading the manual, figured it all out in about 10 minutes of pushing buttons and seeing what does what. You can set the quality of the print, among other things in the SETTINGS. The default when it comes is low resolution. I would immediately bump that up to high. That takes more space on the included 32GB micro SD card, but at 32GB, you won’t be filling that up anytime soon. It takes inexpensive thermal paper rolls you can get online, or Staples etc, and comes with three of them to start. The actual quality of the black and white print is sub-par, as was to be expected with something like this, but the quality is high enough that even minute details can be printed and seen. This kept all three of them busy for hours and turned out to be one of the “coolest” things Grandad got for them. At $50, pretty pricey, but it works well and again, it was a hit with the grandkids. Definitely five stars.

When deciding whether or not to order this, I immediately went to determine how much the replacement thermal paper rolls would cost because I didn’t want to lock myself into a longterm expensive gift for my kid. If you feel that way too, then rest assured that you can get–at the time of this review–9 rolls of replacement paper from JOYTRIP here on Amazon for $13.99. And you can also choose a colored paper set, which is fun. Other similarly sized thermal paper should work as well, but I can’t verify that. I like that this camera doesn’t require other ink, etc.
About the actual camera: it’s intuitive to use, takes good enough photos, and is a hit with my kid. I like that it doesn’t have any extras like games because I want my child to use it for photos and not for other screen time. It’s a bit more expensive than some on the market, but I think the reasonably priced paper and good quality of photos makes it worth it.
