I took the advice of another review to put this in the dryer to speed up the expansion time. Although that worked out great, the mattress topper expanded unevenly. One quarter of the mattress topper stayed flat and never expanded on it’s own once placed on the mattress. Now I am left with a quarter of the bed area flat and not plush. The rest is however nice and comfortable.

This is very soft and definitely adds a layer of cushion to the mattress. Our daughters mattress is pretty firm (ordered the wrong one so thats my fault) this did help some. But its not very thick. I did expect it to be thicker for the price. It will work for now
