We love the pellet ice from this machine. You do have to empty it frequently and store in an ice bag in the freezer to get enough for things like a family dinner. When you empty it frequently, it makes a great amount of ice in a single day.

I love that this ice maker makes the perfect nugget ice and that it dispenses at the touch of a button. It’s easy to refill and empty when needed. The largest negative with this machine is that it does drop stray pieces of ice as it’s making ice. I use the funnel it comes with and a small glass the catch the ice so they don’t land on the counter or floor. It’s not cute, but it is effective. The tray will not catch it all. It’s also fairly loud when it’s in “making ice” mode. However, none of that would keep me from purchasing another one when this one eventually dies. I’ve only had it a couple of months, but I no longer have to get ice weekly from the store and I have free space in the freezer. It fits under in the counter under standard cabinets.

We love our KB Ice machine. This is so much better than the other Nugget Ice machines we have had. We really wanted to have the dispensing option on this machine after being really grossed out with people putting hands in ice bins and seeing all the disgusting mold growths in the water basin. Unit is quieter than the machine we replaced this with as well. Shipping was quick and the unit arrived in perfect condition. Overall super happy.

It’s a perfect fit for countertop settings. With its dispensing function, I don’t need to find a scoop to get the ice. Works well and stable ice production. I’ll keep using it for this summer.

Nice ice but only holds enough for maybe 1 or 2 glasses. Soon as you get that you’re waiting for several minutes for more. Mine has also started running all the time. Something maybe wrong with this unit. At this point I would definitely not recommend this machine.
Update: 3-27-23
Unit running all the time. Still barely ice for 1/2 glass. This morning the unit had leaked water all over counter. I have a request to seller for problems waiting on reply.

New unit works as expected. Nice ice just not much of it stored as I would like for party use. However 1/2 a glass of ice at a time is more than enough.

We had the 1.0 machine and after 2+ years of CONSTANT use it finally died. You might think that would make this a bad machine, but we were impressed by how long it lasted while being used nonstop! We loved it so much we replaced it with the 2.0. It arrived early, the setup was simple and we’ve been so happy. Everyone in the house, friends neighbors, everyone loves it! We entertain often and the machines have been a hit!
The 2.0 seems to require less refills than the 1.0, and it seems to be quieter. We did opt for the extended warranty this time, but nonetheless, we give this machine 5 stars!
Another thing to mention, this machine has made getting my daily water intake goal so much easier to achieve.
