Bought this for the convenience. I would recommend using it with a memory foam mattress. You will feel the center support no matter what, but it’s not designed for you to lounge on it in the center. It seems to be a good quality build. It also has electric straps on it to help keep a mattress centered on it. It’s fairly easy to setup alone. Make sure to follow the instructions that are fixed to the inside of the storage bag. It sits higher than I expected.

With all reviews complaining about the middle..was skeptical. I still decided to try since needed one for my unfortunate back issue. I didn’t “need” to cuddle next to partner but wanted to. Put two thin memory foam mattresses on top, lets just say it was most comfiest sleep I’ve ever had while camping. I’m 180 and partner is 145lbs. Did NOT feel beam in the middle nor did it sag much. Would I get another? Absolutely!

The two sides are completely separated from one another by a big bar that you can’t get over in the middle. The parts you sleep on are not sturdy at all and come with pre-divots, for lack of a better term, and by the time we got it all opened, set up and in a position to try it to see how bad this product was, it was too late to return it. DO NOT BUY!!!

ok the color choice is nice. the toting bag matches the cot which is also nice. one of the nicest bags i’ve seen yet. strong handle too. but, if the intention is to sleep next to your other half well forget it. unless you want that support pole in your back or packing a very thick air mattress or doubling up the futon’s. your weight and their weight on each side, you might as well just join 2 single cots together. the material is not strong enough to keep your body weight above or near frame. my other single cots are tighter it barely sags. this one not so much. i don’t weigh near the max weight that is allowed so i think if they use material with less elasticity would work better. ah, it does eat up your packing space. wheels on the bag is handy, it does have some weight to it.

After reading reviews, we went with this one, as the bar in the center wasn’t a concern. We use an RV bunk mattress that folds. We also have thin single air mattresses that connect together. With all of that, it was a good sleep. We really loved that the cot is elevated enough to stash our bags under it, keeping the tent more organized. We have a 9×14 foot tent, and with this cot, still have space for a small folding table and 2 chairs, with space to move around.

Fits very well with our king camp mattress, very comfy, very sturdy feeling with two larger than average adults. It’s pretty heavy and large in its carrying bag, luckily it has wheels. Unfolds okay, and refolds easily in my living room, hopefully it will be as easy in a tent but I haven’t tried yet.
