Seems to be sturdy and the squirrels like it

I like this. It has a metal hinge on it that I am anxious to see how it holds up. I actually use this for not only squirrels but also bluejays. On others, the blue Jays will lift the lid and grab a peanut, but for this one, it is too heavy and/or tight, so they can not lift it. I know that this is not what it is made for, so not including this, I would rate this as very nice.

We have Grey and small Douglas Squirrels that visit our yard. I wasn’t sure if our little Douglas squirrels would be big/strong enough to open the top up but definitely do without an issue and figured it all out very quickly.
When put it up, I originally overfilled the feeder with enough peanuts that the lid was propped up on the nuts themselves. I then set a few of them on the platform to grab their attention. Once they snagged all the nuts on the platform they quickly understood that they could reach in under the lid itself to get more treats. However, the 2nd day after putting this up, I noticed that the little stinkers figured out they could just lift up and out the metal guard to have a “free for all” of the peanuts sitting behind the guard itself.
To remedy this, I ended up running a thin piece of wire through the bottom holes of the guard and then wrapping the ends of the wire underneath the entire feeder to stop them from pulling out the guard. It was a quick simple fix!
Besides the vendor sending me the wrong color, (ordered green and recieved blue) I am thrilled with this little feeder! I also have to say, this has been keeping these fluffy tails out my actual bird feeders. I also love that it’s made of recycled plastic. It’s extremely well built and expect it to bring backyard enjoyment and last for many many years. I highly recommend!

Came pre-assembled. I love that the squirrels can’t chew on the plate that holds the food inside. It is made from recycled plastic so it should last a very long time even though it is in the weather. I do wish it had little D-hooks attached to it. If you hang it from the nail/screw hole, it will tip side to side. You can use the smaller holes if you want to put it in a permanent location.

I always had a problem of blue jays eating my squirrel’s food, so I thought I’d give this feeder a try.
The birds can’t get into it. It didn’t take long for the squirrels to open it, can’t say every squirrel figured it out, but I’m really happy with this feeder.
Kingsyard makes a very good product, and the feeders come completely assembled, yippee.

I have a roof with 5 trees and at my neighborhood there’s a lot of salvage squirrels so I give it a try.
I buy it 3 months ago and the squirrels just love it and they immediately know how to used.
I decide not to hang it on a tree so I just let the feeder on the floor lever under sun and rain. Really durable material.
I put sunflower seeds and walnuts in shell and squirrels love it.

Nothing to really dislike. Squirrels, which I find to be very intelligent creatures, easily figure out how to get inside…LOL. Front metal plate slides down in, I presume to make cleaning it easy, but it is often found on the ground. Wife grumbles that they [Squirrels] keep taking it out and I laugh knowing that the squirrels are probably grumbling that my wife keeps putting it back. It is very easy to put up and well built

Great design and the squirrels love it. The squirrels in our area figured out to get to the peanuts immediately. I posted video from the first day we installed it on our fence. It’s fun to watch them discovering the snacks inside. It’s also great because the wild turkeys can’t access it! I’m thinking about getting a second one.
