The media could not be loaded.
I have crippling arthritis in both thumbs. I recently had surgery on my left hand. Opening the cat food can was painful, screaming pain. I tried using both an electric and hand held opener. Hand held there absolutely no way. Electric wouldn’t connect. I hated cats dinner time. In my video I show how to use it. You see me stumble a little but I only have one hand no way to hold it still. What you don’t see or hear is the screaming pain that came along with trying to open the can without my favorite little tool. In 5 months I have my other hand done. This will make my life even easier when I don’t have use of my dominant hand. It’s FANTASTIC. What I don’t like is….in the add for it , it says: for weak hands, arthritis, funny gift. My opinion there is nothing funny about not having the use and constant pain in your hands. Id like to see that removed. It had now been 5 months and I said my second hand surgery. This once again is saving me from asking for help at every move. I highly recommend it and I do believe the gag/. Funny gift has been taken out of the description and that is appreciated.

Like many, I struggle to open bottles & jars. For bottles, this has a ratcheting process that allows anyone to open them. It takes a minute to get used to it, but once you do you open them quickly. It opens jars by using the pry tool to pop the air tight seal. Once you pop it, jars are a breeze. It also has a slot for pull tabs and a hook for rings to assist with cans. Easy to use. Saves your hands. Expensive, but worth it. Keep your independence and open everything yourself.

This product doesn’t do the functions it advertises. The pull tab part won’t fit under the pull tabs on any drink or can I’ve tried. It does work for the jar lid opening which is what I really needed so I kept it

It would not even open water bottles. A lid stuck in it and I couldn’t get it out. Used a competitor device to remove the lid. Extremely disappointed. Returning for refund.

After my recent stroke I have developed mobility issues. I find this tool makes opening containers easy. It is an appropriate thickness and easy to handle. The only complaint I gave, is the magnet is not strong enough to stay on the refrigerator. I use it mostly for opening drink containers.
