I own 3 of these. They break down and set up in a flash, are solid as a rock when opened, and I have no fear for my guitars sitting on these. That said, I do not gig so I do not have to carry them around. They’re kind of heavy and even when folded, they’re a little bulky. Also, they are a bit more expensive than similar type units.
Final thoughts: probably not a great idea for traveling with, but fabulous if they’re just going to sit in your studio.

K&M, like my trombone and music stands. Decently built, protects the guitar body with heavy duty rubber where needed, and spares will be available. Far more robust and stable than the Chinese alternatives and I trust it with my Les Paul and Strat. For just a few quid more. Still cheaper than a decent set of strings! You’d be mad to trust an expensive and/or treasured instrument to anything less.

Sturdy and stable 4 point footprint. Because I have a J bass I use a folded black Mircofiber to compensate for asymmetrical guitar body. It would be nice if there was a attachable sleeve accessory to use for J bass type bodies.

This K&M electric guitar stand is absolutely perfect for my needs. I use it in my practice area (bedroom) so I need not put my guitar away between visits. Less set-up, more practice! I was amazed at how small the packaging is. Folded flat, it takes very little room. Don’t be fooled. Out of the box, unfold, and 3 seconds later I was sure this is the best guitar stand I’ve ever purchased. Very well made and very sturdy. Holds my semi-hollow Gretsch with confidence. If you have a full-bodied electric, (more then 2&1/2 inches thick) then you need to look at the K&M acoustic stand. Let’s clear the air about guitar stands. First, if you have to worry about kids or pets, your instrument should be in a case or a secure room. No guitar stand is child, dog, or accident proof. Next, if you are going to gig, and be on an over- crowded stage, (and I’ve yet to see one that wasn’t!) or even just a rehearsing with the gang, this stand or any stand like it is just an accident waiting to happen. Finally, (and this is just a personal quirk) I just can’t bring myself to ever HANG a guitar by the neck. I like the weight supported from below. If it meets your needs, I certainly recommend this stand.

It is well built. Set up and take down is simple and fast. Like that it is padded in all places that guitar could bump into when placing guitar on the stand. Most other stands only have pads where the guitar will rest.

I like that these fold up for storage. There is a rubberized base that doesn’t slip on the floor, or on the guitar. For offset guitars like a Jazzmaster or Jaguar, it works but keep in mind the guitar will not be centered to keep the guitar vertical and part of the guitar may touch the ground. This is not a problem for me as I am using mine at home on carpet. This won’t work for an acoustic but works on all my electrics.
