It’s an amazing product the only bad thing is that mines didn’t come with a bridge so I had to buy that separately

I was given this violin to review it. I am a guitar player and decided to try violin about 5 years ago. The frustrations of my first violin are still fresh so i hope this review helps someone. This is a good looking violin and comes in a very sturdy case. the things that set this apart from other starter violins are: It comes with 2 sets of decent strings. Most inexpensive violins come with horrible strings, the rosin is better than average which helps a new player make his first sounds, the tuning keys fit nice and snug and tuned up without have to pull them and rosin them up, the fine tuners work smoothly and have a good range, and the bow was decent, decent balance and not shedding hair. The only things negative I have are that I wish it came with 2 bridges and that the case could fit the violin a little snugger. If you are looking for a starter violin this is an excellent choice.

It’s a good option to get a 4/4 from kmise brand .

Everything was good. The violin was perfect but while I was tuning it up the E string ripped off the violin but everything was good. It sounded better when I turned it up but first when you get it will not be tuned up so you have to tune it up.

The rosin is hard and light yellow. It was in two pieces with loose shards. I scored it with scissors and it rosened up the bow quickly. I bought this violin because of the ‘good rosen reviews’ and the dark color to it in the picture. I was very disappointed to find a different rosen, but it works okay. The bridge is not an even half circle, it is deeper down on the low note string position. I assume that is normal? Pictures show the bridge to be even. I made some sounds and it seems okay to play thusly. One string was out of the peg hole and I had to use a needle nose plier to get back in and wind it up. The pegs don’t slip yet, but must be pushed in to hold. I like the sound of the violin. I am a beginner and just want to make some sounds without worrying about being in tune or pressing the right notes. It is for my mental health which is in the pits. A few bow hairs were loose and I cut them, they feel like plastic. I had a hard time getting the bow back into place in the case. It has to be done in a certain way, pay attention to the way it comes shipped, I didn’t. The overall quality is nice with just a few white varnish dots near the edge. I am having trouble getting the neck rest into place and will have to fiddle with it quite a bit to figure it out.

Do not buy if you want to play a violin. You won’t even be able to use it for a paper weight. Strings are crap. Whole thing is poorly put together. Do not buy!
Nice product, Nice seller –
flimsy, strings are not usable

This is a beautiful violin – I was impressed that it includes the hard case, the extra strings, rosin and the hygrometer. Since I am a beginner it took a while to tune correctly. It probably didnt’ help that I chose a humid day, I had to tune, let it sit, tune again etc before the tones stayed. The fine tuners helped a lot with this and is much easier than just using the pegs. The fact that it has fine tuners at this price point is also amazing. My husband plays fiddle and he said this instrument produced a beautiful tone, and wasn’t that far off from his higher end violin. Excellent value for money. I also own a banjolele from Kmise and it is a high quality instrument that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

It’s perfect for beginners like me, just change the rosin! First day I got it, it didn’t make a sound and I thought it wasn’t a good product, but I searched and found out that people choose other rosins than the one that came with it. The next day I got the rosin and played it, it was perfect! (I also had to set up the bridge and strings).

The violin looked good! A few days later, my son snapped a E string while tuning it, so we took it for fixing. The violin repairer said, “The strings are very cheap, and the tuning pegs are very in the peg hole” and now we have to wait an another 2 weeks for it. And the repair price was.. $220 AUD. I paid $270 AUD, while on sale but now i have to pay the double of the price, which actually sucks.

My daughter wanted to learn violin, so did I. I wasn’t sure how long my daughter would be interested so we went cheap. Ordered two of these, so far so good. They have a pretty good sound. They are cheap but that was the point. Had a few issues with strings breaking but I think it was user error not manufacturing error. The case is very nice. Very pleased all around.

Let me begin by telling you that I have been playing violin for 45+ years. I own several violins, both electric and acoustic. Based on that experience, I would recommend this instrument to any beginning student (adult or child). I was able to easily slide the bridge into position, apply rosin to the bow, tune and play the instrument. The violin is well made using good materials. The bow is of good quality and felt good and comfortable . The instrument can produce a lovely tone with nice sustain. The seams and joints are clean and assembled sturdily. It comes with a nice protective case with hygrometer, rosin and an extra set of strings. This instrument would also be a good platform for someone who might like to install a pickup and controls. For a sub-$100 instrument, I am very impressed. A very nice budget instrument! Also, the instrument arrived quickly and was well packaged. I would recommend. Thank you!

It’s made as a show instrument…
Strings do NOT stay tight and it never stays tuned…even for a second and the strings are loose again.
