2024 LAUNCH C reader Elite V2.0 it has several nice features such as, on my 2020 Chevy 1500 diesel pickup I can reset the NOX sensor, recalibrate the DEF gauge, etc. You can monitor anything there is a sensor for. For the price its great. Its a little annoying sometimes because its a little slow and it always wants to scan all the codes so I have to cancel that and then go to the correct menu to speed up the process but once you figure it out its easy. It does not include a charging cord and does not charge off the OBD port so you will have to get a cord but its a common usb type charging cord you can just get one off Amazon. Mine came fully charged. It also has wifi capability for updating its software.

The ad claims lifetime updates but the manual states that this is a subscription to one year of updates. So this is not a great value if this is true.

This is only for GM products. If you have a difficult problem to solve or diagnose, but unable to afford another scan tool that will do all vehicles then you need to get this. This is bidirectional and you have full access to all of the resets. In a short time, I used this to diagnose a window that would not roll up. I was able to roll the window up by activating the motor using the scan tool. I’m another vehicle I was able to use the battery. Reset function when a battery had to be replaced.
This is a fully functional by directional scan tool for GM products only. Full diagnostics and full reset for everything. If your car is a GM, this will do it.

I love this scanner, as an automotive tech and working on cars on a daily bases this scanner has all the bells and whistles. From resetting maintenance light to putting brake system in service mode to perform a brake job on your vehicle. Easy to use, code read codes for check engine lights. Highly recommend

I got this for a newer GM 5.3 vehicle and a L5P. The 5.3 it works as advertised, however the instructions are not very clear. Highly recommend watching videos to learn the actuator functions.
As for the L5P, many of the specialized modules are “not supported.” If you need this for any GPCM readings or components (my main reason for purchase) the current software does not work. I have submitted requests to launch, however have not seen any firmware changes. If the firmware doesn’t support by the end of the return period it is going back.

Built well, User friendly and had all the abilities the dealership computer would have at a fraction of the price The only downside I don’t think the updates hold because every time I turn it on it wants more updates but that could just be staggering updates

I bought this to do a brake job on a 2021 Silverado 1500. It has the electronic parking brake and the brake pad monitor. I was getting a nagging message on the screen that said ‘Service Brake Pad Monitor’. I put new brake pads, wear sensors, and rotors on it and everything went OK I thought. The trucks screen said it detected new brake pads and asked if I wanted to reset the brake pad life so I checked YES but when it got done the brake pad monitor showed 100% on the rear and 51% on the front–and yes I had it in service mode. It wouldn’t let me manually reset it again. None of my scanners could reset the brake pad monitor and I read that this one could do it. The price of this scanner was a little less than the dealer quoted me to do the reset but they said if the brakes were done incorrectly it could cost $2000 blah blah blah and I would have to leave the truck there because they were backed up . I was positive I did it correctly because I used GM service info so I bought this scanner. Charged the scanner and did the updates (it says upgrade on the screen but it means update). Plugged it into the truck and did the reset in about 2 minutes. No trip to the dealer and no getting “You put in the wrong pads” or anything like that.

This tool solved a lingering inoperable AC condition on a 2014 Chevy Cruz in less time than it took to download the software updates. That is in no way an exaggeration nor a complaint…the software and GUI is super sleek and provides full access to all modules on the network. This incudes accessing the data stream from each module as well performing functional testing…the tool can command for example the ac clutch on / off, or the AC solenoid to open and close. A true bi-directional tool.
What else, screenshots that you can email to yourself? yup, has that, and it’s super slick, click click, sent. It just works, and that’s really the theme of the whole tool, it just works.
I want to go break something on my Honda so that I can justify the download, because guess what, I can add Honda, I can add Ford, sure, it costs for the year, but versus buying another tool, seems like an obvious choice and screaming deal at that.
TLDR: Best scan tool I have ever owned – it reads and controls the AC system, 2014 Chevy Cruz.
