The dust ruffle came wrinkled from the package but a few minutes in a warm dryer with a wet towel smoothed it right out. The material is light weight and beautiful. It looks great with the floral quilt bedspread.

I did as someone else suggested and put the skirt in the dryer to get the wrinkles out, after taking the product out of the bag once received. When I put the skirt on the box Spring it appeared to have either shrunk in the Dryer, or it came that way. So when trying to stretch the cover over the box Spring it tore. Very fragile netting that lays on the box spring. Fortunately one side of the bed faces a wall and is not seen from entering the room. So the short skirt side went on the side not seen when entering the room. I liked the color and look of the stripes and decided to keep.

I love Laura Ashley linens; they are so fresh and welcoming. The bed skirt went with my comforter perfectly. So why the 4* rating? The skirt itself is fine but the center that goes over the box spring is a very cheap material. If you are not careful (very careful,) it tears very easily. For the money, I would expect something a little more substantial. As much as I love it, I think it is over-priced.

I absolutely loved this pattern and style, but I’m not sure how this has the Laura Ashley brand name on it as it’s really poorly made. The skirt itself was a thin cotton fabric, and the material used to keep the skirt in place under the mattress was a cheap polypropylene that you’d use to make a cheap reusable bag! So disappointed, but grateful for Amazon’s return policy.
