I didn’t load a photo because I didn’t want to give Amazon access to my phone. Anyway, just be advised that if you are on 29er with 2.6″ tires, these things are much too tight as they are. I cut off the right side raised part of the unit with a plasma cutter, you could also use a cutoff wheel, then I removed the padding off the hook, heated it with oxy-acetylene and reshaped the hook a little larger, then replaced the padding to the hook. To be exact these had to be bent out far enough that when you measure from the wall to the end of the hook, mine had to be 6 inches away from the wall. Without doing all this it was just quite tough to get the bike off and on the hook, it would kind of go on easier but it really wouldn’t come off easy. It’s really not that much work, again you just cut off the right side raised area of the unit, remove the hook pad, heat and bend it larger … again bend it far enough so the tip of the hook is 6 in from the wall, also it doesn’t need to be a super complete hook to catch the tire well, as long as it has just a little bit of curve and is 6 in from the wall you will find this to work with this size tire… then reinstall hook pad…. it will still sleeve on with some pushing and twisting even though you have changed the shape of the hook. Now mine are all working great. I didn’t mind the extra work modifying because these things are so inexpensive to begin with.

This is super sturdy and easy to install. It came with sticker guides to align the drill holes, which made it very easy to get the feeder holes aligned.
The included screws were “good enough”, but as is often the case the metal was a bit soft, and I’m not sure if they would survive a reinstall if we ever move. However, screws are cheap and I am certain I can get them off the wall since none of the heads were stripped.
With the bikes weight, do not install this in drywall if at all possible. If you do, purchase drywall anchors that flip outward behind the wall.
As you can see in the picture above, I bought a 2×10 board and mounted it to the studs in my garage. Then I mounted the bike hooks to that board at my desired separation. It is extremely secure, and the hooks feel very sturdy – I have no concerns about them bending or failing.
Please note, this does not have a plate for the rear wheel, so the rear wheel will touch your wall and make it dirty.

I installed six of these in my garage to hang both mountain and road bikes. I used the supplied drywall anchors and screws—4 in each bracket. The anchors are the kind that self-drill into the drywall. After a week, I found one bike had fallen. The rack and anchors had pulled completely from the drywall. I checked the others and they had begun to pull loose, as well. I took them all down and replaced with toggle bolts. It’s my opinion that this type anchor (I’ve used them for years with no problem) are built to support shear stress, not torsional stress. The way the wheel pulls on the hook produces force pulling out from the wall, which is where they failed. The good news is that the gaping holes the failed anchors left behind were the right size for the toggles. Do yourself a favor and throw the provided drywall anchors in the dustbin and install with toggles.

These hooks are solid. I’m very happy with them. However, the included hardware is inappropriate. First, they include drywall mounts and I cannot impress upon you just how bad an idea hanging your bike from drywall is. Second, the included screws are made from a fairly soft metal so they strip pretty easily.
Do yourself a favour and either mount these to a board (like I did) or mount them directly to a stud with at least 2.5″ screws.

I loved the product, for some bigger bikes like mountain bikes, it might be too small and difficult to put the bike in it. Overall it was a great experience, just be mindful of the space needed by your wheels.

For the price, these work great and are especially good for smaller child size bikes. For adult bikes, even those with regular tires and not fat tires or the larger tires on newer mountain bikes these are pretty hard to get the bike on and off because of how much the hook on the end bends along with the “valley” the tire sits within. For lightweight bikes it’s pretty easy to maneuver on and off but heavier steel bikes and especially an e-bike I’d probably grab something different unless you had a very small narrow tire or small diameter tire.
