I received this unit and was very pleased with it for two days. The compressor started to make a lot of noise. I got some help from my neighbors and we sat a support under the rear of the unit. This seemed to work until bedtime. It started making a lot of noise and so I disconnected it and returned it.

This air conditioner works just like a window air conditioner should work. It has two features that I have never used before. One is a dry mode, for rainy, humid conditions. The other is a wifi feature. I don’t have anything to compare these too, as this is the first time I’ve used them, but so far, they seem to work fine. It has a washable dust filter. Insulation strips and fit-to-window strips are included with the air conditioner. No negatives.

My old a/c window unit stopped working, and with an upcoming heatwave, I was desperate for a good unit to replace it. I got this lg a/c and found it to work just fine. I expect since it is newer than my last one that my normally sky high summer electric bill will be reduced a little bit. I haven’t used all of the functions of the unit (like wifi connectivity- I don’t need that), so I just say that it cools fine and it is not too loud.
