Desert Eegs –
I like these bongos. For the price theyβre great. I bought a pair first that were tuned from the top and they were terrible quality. These bottom tuned ones are way better! I like how there is no logo on the skin and when tuned properly, they sound awesome! Would definitely recommend if you only have 40$ to spend or soβ¦.

Has a nice tone to it. My child is very excited to learn to play. Sturdy instrument.
Brad –
They are great for the money. You must tune them first. They provide the tool and simply watch a youtube video.
They loosen as the wood dries so they might not sound good out of the box.
After the heads are tightened/tuned they sounds great.

Β Fun for me and the grandkids, enjoy
Eric –
Just opened the box, and they were dirty. How is it theyβre dirty right out the box, though not wrapped all the way in the plastic in the box? If I wasnβt desperate, Iβd send them back. It looks like they were used and put back in a fresh box. They also donβt sound that great, but I need them for a kids show and theyβre playing to back tracks. At least I got them on sale during prime day.

great for my classroom

Β I got these for myself. The larger drum has a good sound. The smaller though, seems rather flat. I try to lose and tighten the bolts. But it really does not help. However, my niece and nephew will have fun with them.
Eric –
I acquire a lot of music instruments because I have an obsessive son who wants all of them, baby kind, adult kind, professional kind. These say for adult beginners and that is fair. They are much nicer than the toy bongos we have. I can definitely tell the difference. They include a wrench for adjusting.
