I got these to replace my old dish set. The quality and appropriate weight of each piece is on point. They are dishwasher safe, scratch and chip resistant. The plates ha e an edge on them to keep juices on the plate. They stack in my cabinet wonderfully. I even purchased a second set!!

Where has this MALACASA 12-piece Porcelain Dinnerware Set been all my life? The lipped edges are such a game changer compared to the sloped edges of other plates I’ve used. You can slice steak without worrying about food sliding off the plate, and the lip is perfect for keeping sides like mashed potatoes or sauces contained. I also think this would be great for kids, as the lip can help prevent some messes!
The set includes service for four: 4 dinner plates, 4 salad/dessert plates, and 4 salad/soup bowls. It’s microwave and dishwasher safe, and the non-toxic porcelain feels sturdy and well-made. The finish is flawless—no scratches or chips so far—and I love the simple elegance of the white with black rims. This design works with just about any décor and can be dressed up for a formal dinner or used casually for everyday meals.
One thing to note is that the bowls take up a little more storage space than usual due to their straight up-and-down design, but it’s a small trade-off for how functional and attractive they are. They’re great for meals with sauces, soups, or anything that requires a little more depth.

So I had a random assortment of dishes up until now and was ready to get a nice inform set to feel like a real responsible adult! Well, these are nice, but there’s one glaring issue that are likely going to cause me to replace these very soon. The bowls when placed upside down as you would in a cupboard seem to not want to stack more than 2 high. You can force them to, but it’s very unstable and I would almost guarantee that eventually you’ll have an incident where one or two fall off the stack and potentially get damaged. If you don’t need to stack these higher than 2 or if you want to store them right side up they don’t seem to have a problem when that (which is really weird to me).
This one gripe aside I do feel these are good quality bowls and plates that will last until they are accidentally broken. The fact that the bowls are on the deeper side and the plates actually have lips on them is amazing! All of my previous stuff was shallow bowls and flat plates so I’m actually quite happy with this upgrade for now.
My favorite thing is that these are not plastic. I’ve been trying to remove as much if it from my life as possible so this is definitely much better for me and hopefully the environment as well!
Overall these are great I just suggest to the people that make these to figure out what to do in order to get the bowls to stack nicely upside down and these will be 5 stars! If this is a problem for you I would suggest another set, if not, these are perfect for you!
