Great concept, but the wood (laminate) is very cheap and you have to put in screws that are tough to get in straight, especially when trying not to damage the laminate. The screws aren’t even going into actual holes! Part of the cheap laminate broke off when I was putting it together so I had to glue it back on. The directions were pretty much useless! If I didn’t need a pen holder now, it probably would have been returned for the mesh holder. If the materials were better, it would have gotten five stars, especially since it holds all of my gel pens.

Great organiser, works as expected. I was skeptical all my pencils and pens would fit when I opened the box, the organiser is smaller than I thought it would be and I have almost 100 between them and other stationary like brushes etc. but they incredibly enough do fit. I got so much space on my desk now, this was a godsend! I didn’t have any problems in the build as other reviews stated, I guess it’s just luck. It looks pretty, it is sturdy, it fits a lot and it’s really compact, would definitely recommend!

Pros: This was a pretty good little organizer for what it is. The drawer at the bottom is kinda small but good for flat items. The slots hold a lot of items too. The angle is just about right for storing my eyeliner pen tip-down without tipping it so far it leaks out too much, which is a nice plus. It’s just pressboard so not crazy strong but more than capable of holding pens or bathroom stuff. Assembly was pretty easy, but definitely recommend using your own screwdriver as the one that comes with is rather small and hard to use. Instructions were straightforward. Turned out to be far more stable than I expected which was nice.
Some minor tweaks that helped:
– knotted a thin hair tie and ran it through the hole for a drawer pull as I didn’t really like the knob included in the package. changes the look a bit.
– ran black marker over the exposed tan pressboard edges – makes everything look a bit more finished. You could do it to the screws too if you wanted to.
– to keep the screws from going out of place during assembly, I tried to pinch around the slots the screws were going into to keep them from veering off to the sides and tearing up/cracking the surface of the pressboard.
Cons: One note is that there are some screws that are kinda exposed on the top surface upon full assembly but that’s not really something that seems to affect function – the tension from the screws biting into the edges of the pressboard is what keeps it together. The drawer just sits in the slot and isn’t on a sliding rail or anything so you do have to manually align it and push it in a bit more than you would something like a larger dresser drawer. It really isn’t an issue with function though.
All things considered it’s pretty good and definitely is far more space efficient than I expected.

This was so easy to put together, it came with very clear instructions with the option to follow an assembly video. Although it’s not actual solid wood (press board), it’s actually very good quality. It feels sturdy and I don’t feel like it’s flimsy at all. It’s a great desk top organizer. Super happy with it.

Seriously, I must have every mechanical pencil set, drawing pencil, colored ink pen and pencil, sharpies, water color, and gel pens known to man. I kept all of these in separate foam cup holders. I vowed I would better organize it someday. Well, that day came when my desk fell into disrepair and another was required. What to do with all these cup holders filled with pencils and pens of all colors and sizes? It was not a pretty sight and I needed to get organized. I went on Amazon searching for something that could hold much, and I found it. It had nine compartment slots and a drawer. A phone holder to boot. HALLELUJAH!
At first I thought, that looks very small, all my things will never fit in there. WRONG! As the picture shows, I could have added more, and will because this will hold it all.
Setup was EASY. When you open the box, set the pieces in order from 1-10. It will help you assemble the pieces much faster. It took me about 30 minutes. The Phillips screw driver that was provider was too small. If you have a larger one, it will save you some time.
I was challenged by the screws that were provided though. I found that the trick is that the screw has to go through the small hole and stay centered within the u-shape of the slots. If the screw moves forward or backward, the boards will not be straight, and as you add the additional boards they won’t fit together properly. Again, having a larger Phillips helped.
THIS IS A MUST HAVE. I like that it is just small enough to fit on my desk and not clutter up my space, while allowing me to organize those drawing tools that I can quickly get to. In addition, I put my stapler, tape and USBs in the last three slots. For now, I have highlighters in the drawer. They fit very well.
Also, there is a cell phone holder. Honestly, I could not decide whether to make that a calculator, index card or phone holder. But, you can make it suit whatever need you have. I have no complaints. Currently, I am using this at home, but am considering purchasing one for the office.
The other thing I like, is that it comes in different styles (without bottom draw), and in different colors. As you can see, the black works well with my desk.
I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend this product.

I needed something to hold a bunch of little tools and I spent hours. I didnt want baskets or containers because I needed access at all times. This was the only thing I could find. It was pricey but I thought what the heck.
It’s easy to build if you look at the pictures. It took me about 15 minutes once I organized the pieces. The pieces were falling apart so I had to use other wood to hold them in place until I got the screws in. I’ve never seen screw holes like this before. They are exposed (see pictures). But they do hold pretty well. After assembling everything, I ended up using Elmer’s glue to fill in the screw holes so items wouldnt get caught in the holes or on the screws. This felt more like a toy then a tool organizer because it is small. But it works! It’s just much smaller and more fragile (the drawer) than anticipated… especially for the price. If there were other affordable options, I probably wouldnt have bought this. But I needed a tiny tool organizer that sat on top of my craft table. Wish I could have found other options. Pretty expensive for something so small and fragile (until I glued it ALL together.. including the screw holes, where all pieces came together and the drawer)
