We got this for our daughter’s fourth birthday and she has played it every day. I love how it is set up like a piano and the keys are named so she can be familiar with the names of the keys before she starts piano lessons in a couple of years. She has already learned to play “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” on her own!
It is sturdy and solid, even with the abuse it receives in a house with six children. All of the hammers have survived thus far as well. The notes are all correct and in key. It was a bit more expensive than I would have expected, but it is also better quality than I expected. We love how she can use it to learn to play so many songs, and then translate that into piano one day.

Nice enough glockenspiel for child/adult to play with. Didn’t check the tuning on the pitches, but it sounds ok. Nice to have 2 sets of mallets and the key colors match up with the colors of the keys in basic play by color songbooks, except for the higher C being white (instead of red). Nice also to have the half tones also…
