There are a few things to like. As many others have said, this is a cheaper version of the cross rope kit. The mechanism is smooth, the packaging is good, and once you get the rope sized properly for your height all seems great. I jump about 3 times per week, about 1200 jumps per workout, on vinyl flooring (not concrete). The 1/2 pound rope (the black one) has worn out in just over a month. The jacket has worn through already. But literally every other part of the kit is good. I like the handles, the different rope weights, the mechanism. Just wish they would use a more durable jacketing on the rope itself. Perhaps a beginning jumper who jumps less will have better luck, but when the reps get high the pvc jackets wears out fast. For the price, it should last longer.

The quality seems great. I’ve never used crossrope, but wanted to try a rope with the option to swap out ropes to go heavy or light. Super happy with this set up. The handles spin really well and the ropes are a great value. I would definitely recommend this set.

I’m not normally an Amazon review writer, but this seller was so good I felt it was warranted. I had a minor issue with my first order, but the MOGOLD team was very quick to respond and went above and beyond to find a remedy. The jump rope handles are a nice texture and the bearings are smooth. The rope is easily adjusted with the included cutter, and different rope weights easily switched between the handles. I jump on a mat (not raw concrete) and have seen no signs of wear so far; these ropes appear to be quite resilient.

The bearings are pretty much silky smooth the durability of the rope/cable is yet to be determined and I use mine on a mat so I’m hoping longevity will not be an issue. The cable cutters are a little better than mid and a whole lot better than not getting any! The fact that you get 3 ropes light, medium, and heavy is fantastic plus Allen key to! NOTE TO SELLER : start providing a way to purchase replacement ropes !! Great rope recomended for sure.

This jump rope set is official. My cousin has the cross rope set and honestly they match up. And this set is cheaper and brings 3 ropes. The only difference is the handles from cross rope is curvaceous. Customer service is awesome these people will make things right if any issues with rope size. Over all I’m satisfied and world recommend this set to any one. Beginner or pro real nice smooth rope swing I love it. And no I don’t work for the company and this ain’t no gimmick. I’d you into health don’t wait get yours and they are great quality. For the price you can’t go wrong. The only thing is that the seller don’t sell other weighted ropes. You have to buy their other weighted rope set. The next level bring 1lb and 2lb ropes. But honestly cross rope sells their rope very expensive. So it’s still a good deal to get their other set for $100. Lucky my cousin is blessing me with his cross rope handles so I can get a cross rope as well very soon lol now I have Mongol set and soon cross rope 1lb and 2lb set. But honestly they both the same in smooth rotation when you jump. If my cousin didn’t give me his cross rope I world but the next Mongol set well worth it I promise you won’t regret your purchase!

Great speed rope. Be mindful of the surface you’re exercising on because I’ve noticed the cable is beginning to wear from skipping against unfinished, brushed concrete. Still a great buy.

The rope set is well made and includes a nice case and even pliers to cut the rope. However, these pluses are overshadowed by the relatively stiff ropes. I was expecting a rope similar to the PVC covered wire rope I currently use or even better, but these ropes are too inflexible for my preference.
