Replaced the pair, exact fit. Just make sure to properly torque the axle nut. Too loose or too tight will cause the bearings in the hub to wear prematurely.

It was time to replace the wheel bearings on my 2010 Ford Escape, and I didn’t want to pay someone else to press the old bearing out and press the new one in. I figured that after 185,000 miles, it wouldn’t hurt to replace the entire steering knuckle assembly. I have all the tools to do the job, so that made it pretty easy. The entire job took less than 2 hours to do – plus I had to get an alignment afterward. The assembly costs more than the bearing would separately, but taking into account the labor costs of having someone else do the entire job – or even just to replace the bearing after doing the work myself – seemed worth it. MOOG makes great parts, and this was no exception. I will definitely look for full assemblies the next time I have to do this on my other vehicles.

I have changed 3 wheel bearings on my 2008 Escape in 36,000 miles. I tried different brands and the last one was OEM. Figured my hub was warped causing premature failure. This time I replaced the whole hub and bearing. I’m glad moog came out with this product. I know not all their products are USA made anymore but I haven’t had any problem with their quality control. My escape’s entire front end is MOOG parts except for my OEM right wheel bearing and hub. When it goes I’ll buy a complete hub from moog. The bearings are National brand for those who care. Also this installed like a dream. I was done in an hour and at the alignment shop 30 minutes after that.

Worth it’s weight in gold. If you’ve ever done wheel bearings on an escape then you know how daunting it is to change. This is a plug and play application, with removal/installation this took me just over an hour. I highly recommend this product.

We had a bad bearing on our 2008 escape. This is a big job requiring an arbor press to make 3 or 4 passes to remove and assemble the bearing/hub assembly. So looking to make the job easier we turned to the Moog pre-loaded steering knuckle assembly including knuckle, bearing hub, retainer etc….. a great product and it solved the whole issue, what we saved in labor, and the hassle of finding a machine shop to help press out the bearing and hub assembly ( 2 separate parts in the escapes) and it made the job easy… but an unexpected benefit, with the installation of the new knuckle assembly the car drives like it just rolled off the assembly line. Truth be told we have Moog Tie Rods, control arms etc. that are perfectly maintained and now the addition of the knuckle wow what a difference, I never would have expected.. Thanks Moog for making a nasty job easy and also refreshing the feel to my faithful older vehicle!!!! Also Thanks to Amazon who sells this assembly at a very reasonable price!!!!!

The media could not be loaded.

I replaced the knuckle 20,000 miles ago and the bearing started making noise again. I got tired of replacing the knuckle at the assembly so I bought quality SKF bearings and installed them myself. Attached is a photo of the Mopar bearing.
