Tried my best to tune it but there are a few strings that constantly go out of tune and won’t stay in tune, G and B especially.
Very cheap model in that regards, the wood feels cheap too but very well made. You would be better with a more expensive one so it keeps in tune and doesn’t sound as tinny as this one.

If you tune it by ear, you can get a decent sound at a lower pitch, but if you want a brighter, higher pitch, which would be expected for a lyre, then good luck. I’m eventually going to try pulling out all of the tuning pegs that won’t stay in tune (about half) and maybe replace them or add glue. Stay tuned for an update in the distant future.

Just took it out of the box and the strings were all loos so they would not brake during shipping. I started to tighten and tune them but with hardly any force the right most string snapped and the tuning pegs were easily moved making it impossible to tune or tighten the first two strings.

I wanted to love this. The wood is beautiful. It came in good shape. Strings already attached. But the frustrating thing is that the pegs move when tuning and my guitar friend says it shouldn’t. He spent a lot of time trying to tune it for me. Me being a beginner I just thought it was normal so I waited a while until I could get it in his hands to try but he says it’s not normal. So I feel like it’s useless now. $60 down the drain :/
