Cons…external tent panels not weather proof
, roof panel pools water even with maximum tension from guides, carry bag not weather proof, tent to car flap can be problematic depending on car roof line (slope) but don’t relay on a 100% water seal which was our experience .
Classing this product as ‘fair weather’ only. Attempted to contact the distributor to clarify if tent material was classed ‘4season’ …no response. took a punt with the 1/2 price deal..& gulibly accepted Amazon’ description of the product material was ‘weather resistant’ ……our mistake .

I love the versatility of the Naturehike Car Tent. Let me explain what makes it superior to other car tents.
We car camp a lot and I had been using a tent that attached to the back of my suv. When I got that tent I thought it was so nice having the extra space that it gave us…until I realized that I could not leave my campsite with breaking down the entire tent. Since one side of it attached to my suv, there was nothing providing structure to the tent so it collapsed onto itself when I detached it from my suv. Such a terrible design!
However, the Naturehike Car Tent resolved all of those problems. I now camp from my van instead of my suv. First, I like that I can attach the Naturehike Car Tent to the side of my van and still have access to the back hatch. Next and this is a big one, I love that the tent is freestanding. I can set up camp, have the tent attached at my van, detach the tent when I want to leave and the tent still stands!! Setup is not bad at all. My son and I put the tent up ourselves although I know that I could manage alone if I didn’t have his help. The first time setting up took the longest simply because we had to sort out what was what. But setting up since then has been easy enough. Another big thing for me is that I can close everything up and have privacy to change clothes. My old suv tent was screen but did not have solid panels so changing in it at a campground was not an option. Not to mention it was not great for when it rained either. The Naturehike tent provides shelter from not only the sun but also the rain. I cannot recommend this tent enough. It has changed our entire camping experience for the better!

The quality of the tent is excellent. It was exactly the design I had been searching for to use with my van. Unfortunately, due to the height of my van, I encountered issues connecting the tent properly, so I had no choice but to return it. However, I was so impressed with the quality of this brand’s tents that I purchased a different design instead, and I am very satisfied with it.
