The third spoon is immensely helpful in holding a space so that you can move one of the other two spoons. The rim protectors can be knocked inside the tire/rim and the rope can be used to pull it back out.i didn’t use the valve cores, but they look standard and i have extras if needed. The valve core removal tool is also a tapping tool. I accidentally crushed a 90° race valve stem and I was able to open it back up, retap the inside and outside threads. I already got the new tire on, so it would have been a huge pain to remove the tire for that valve stem. Great kit at a great price.

They work well, however one of the plastic handles broke on first use on one. Will have to try and epoxy it back together. Metal should go through the handle to the end for better strength. Weird using the one with the handle broken as you need the leverage for sure. Likely better sets out there.

It’s Me –
This was my first time removing a tire from a wheel by hand so my experience is of one sample, meaning I don’t have others to compare to. However, these were relatively easy to use and were strong enough to remove 245/40R19 tires from my wheels.
First the tire bead must be broken. I did so by using a left over 4×4 and my minivan (youtube will show you how, do so at your own risk). Once that was completed, the rim protectors were placed on the wheel rim, and the spoons were played with.
The bad: so I will get this out of the way early, the protectors are very soft. They do like to deform under the spoons and without any directions, I did it wrong. I spaced them too far apart from another so I was directly against the rim and scratched the rim of the wheel. I think a section of PEX would work better if you have a way to split it. (I would use a multitool.)
Anyway, it turns out it was not much different than removing a bicycle tire. The hard part is getting the first portion of the tire on the wheel. Once that occurs, the remainder of tire comes off easily.
Three levers are necessary. The two will start a section (hold down with one hand) and the third will work an additional portion. A lever can then be used to pull the remainder of the tire over the lip.
One caution: be careful of the tire pressure monitor sensor. I started on the opposite side so I knew digging the spoon in I would not contact it and potentially break it.

The handles feel good in the hand. They are plenty strong. Have a good spoon shape at the work end to help avoid tube pinching and overall a great kit. This still rim protector isnt great. But the 1s that come with the spoons are as good as any of this design. Also the handful of valve cores and tool could be very handy for someone. Thank you

It has been many years since I last found it necessary to dismount and remount a pneumatic tire by hand. Consequently, I was unable to locate my tire tools amidst the organizational chaos that is my garage. Thus, I resorted to my usual method and turned to Amazon. From a general search, I selected these tools and perused the reviews. Most reviews pertained to pneumatic tires for motorbikes, which caused me some concern regarding their suitability for riding lawn mower tires and utility vehicle tires. In the end, I decided to risk the purchase, knowing it would either prove successful or become a twenty-two-dollar lesson in the importance of being more selective.
I am pleased to report that I was pleasantly surprised. The tools worked exceedingly well. The handles of the tire spoons were sufficiently long to provide excellent leverage, and the smooth, polished surfaces allowed the tools to glide effortlessly along the perimeter of the tire’s bead. I cannot attest to the efficacy of the rim protectors, as I was working on steel-wheeled lawn and utility equipment and had no concern for rim protection.
Over the course of the afternoon, I changed the tires on two lawnmowers and one utility vehicle with minimal cursing and displeasure.
All in all, a very satisfactory purchase.
