I decided to give this slime kit a try in my motorcycle tire. I have used slime for over 20 years in bicycles and it’s always worked very well. This temporarily patched my tire and I rode 60 miles to get the tire replaced. I had absolutely no problems and you couldn’t even tell the back tire had anything in it. It’s a great product and I will continue to use this for my vehicles and bicycles.

Received the item on the date promised. Exactly what I was looking for but hope I don’t have to use it. Contacted the company regarding expiration date. I was advised the Slime will last 4 From the date of manufacture date and 2 years if there is any remaining.
To read the date code on my shipped bottle the sticker attached read, STT 32123. The company indicated the product was made on the 321st day of 2023. Which is Nov 17 of 2023. Thus allowing you to do the math as it relates to the expiration.

It’s still a little weird to me that modern vehicles largely don’t have spare tires any more. My used car was missing the GM factory flat repair kit when I bought it, so I purchased this hoping it would fit into the same slots in the trunk. The canister doesn’t quite fit, but that’s not Slime’s fault – it’s not advertised as a direct OEM replacement, and I’m making it work with a little knife work on the foam liner in the trunk. Not elegant, but usable.
I’ve had good luck with Slime tire sealant on bike tires, wheelbarrows, and hand truck tires, so I’m hoping for good things if I ever have the misfortune to have to use it. I mainly wanted something simple for my wife and teenage driver to use in an emergency.

I bought this for emergency situations. My wife’s tire had a nail in it and a slow leak. I was unsure what the slime would do to the rim so thought I’d just bring the tire up to recommended psi with the compressor before having a plug installed at the tire store.
When attempting to connect the compressor’s hose to the Schrader valve on the tire, the lever to seal the hose broke. It was then completely unusable and could not make an air tight connection to the tire.
I don’t have experience with the slime, but the compressor is of very poor quality and I feel fortunate to have discovered this outside of an emergency situation.

The car dealer told me it would cost $450 to recharge the one that came with my car. This was only $50. It May not fit in the same part of my trunk but it’s small enough to not take up much space. I hope I never have to use it. I think it’s a bargain. Looks very well made and easy to use.

Let me start by saying that we have this item in all 4 of our vehicles. I was out of town and my daughter called me and said she had a flat. It was starting to get dark. I told her to run to the local auto parts store and buy this. She did, filled up her tire, sealed the leak and was able to take it to a tire shop the next day to get it fixed. I was so relieved. She has no auto repair skills, but stated that this was so easy to use. This product is sensor safe. Just tell the tire shop that you have a sealant in there and they will clean it out as well as the sensor. Also a great tire compressor. My buddies daughters’ car had a slow tire leak and her tire was about flat. I simply plugged the compressor in to the acc power source and filled up her tire. The next day she got it fixed. No need to pull out the jack, tire tools, take off the lug nuts, etc… simply plug it in, fill up and go. Well worth the money.

Bought this for my Tesla model three, which does not come with a spare tire. Product is a good quality, and well designed. And it works as advertised at least as far as inflating a tire is concerned. I have not tried the slime part yet.
However, there is one significant weakness. When attaching the nozzle to the tire valve stem, air escapes as you screw it on. As a test, the tire pressure was 40 PSI. As I tried to screw the nozzle onto the stem, Air escaped, and when I finally got it, attached, the psi had fallen into 22. I tried this one more time for the same results.
However, I did find a crude workaround. Namely, I left a unit running while removing the nozzle and in this case, I only lost about 5 pounds. So I over inflated the tire by 5 pounds and by the time I’ve gotten the nozzle off it settled back to the desired psi.
Another possible workaround for the Tesla model three is to remove the hubcap as that would give better access to the valve stem.
Otherwise, I do like the unit and works as advertised and is well designed, and appears to be a good quality
