What I like most about this Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape Dispenser & Medical Paper Tape…is that the paper tape does not stick to my skin and yet holds firm.

I never got through a night using a chin strap while using my CPAP. It itched! I tried a few. Then, someone recommended this tape. I tape my mouth shut and have no problems – no more “dry mouth” while using CPAP nasal mask. The tape holds well all night and comes off easily in the morning – no irritation on my lips.

I bought this to use as a mouth tape for sleeping and it works almost too well. The adhesive is often left behind on my skin and can be very difficult to peel off of my face. I would hate to use this in a place with body hair! I’d imagine the removal would be even more painful. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to but its not pleasant to use regularly due to the adhesive strength.
I would only recommend using this on durable areas and definitely not for sensitive skin like on the face!

I used to use cloth or plastic adhesive tape with gauze bandages. Somehow this paper tape with gentle adhesive works better than cloth. Because it’s strong it’s a little difficult to tear off with the case. You need both hands to detach a piece. You can tear it easily by hand though and scissors work great.
The best part: it stays put without curling or peeling. The adhesive doesn’t irritate your skin. Really the best!

It is easy to use the soft tape. The dispenser works better than most and the tape is durable. I like the thickness and I appreciate the value for the money. It keeps everything where it should be … adheres well without removing skin.

I had seen a video where they had used what’s called a taping method. They would put the oil of choice on your face and then tape over it being careful not to tape under the eyes, but then you would tape around your face and when you leave it on 10 to 15 minutes, or even all night if you want to, when you take that tape off of your face – it is so smooth, it just really is good for a facial! I did this and I loved how my face felt so this is something that I have incorporated in lot my beauty routine. The tape works perfectly, it’s not too sticky, plus, since it’s medical tape, it’s safe for your skin.

The back of the dispenser is thin cardboard and designed to be thrown out when the tape runs out. Why oh why can’t we buy a separate, reusable dispenser for medical paper tapes. The tape roll is just slightly too big for regular dispensers – why?
3M get your act together!! Make a fully functional dispenser that’s easy to use and reusable or make the paper tape roles slightly smaller so they fit into standard dispensers. I won’t be buying this one again!
