I’ve been using the original Ninja Creami for a while now and it’s become such a staple for me – I use it every single day. I prefer the smaller pint version to the larger deluxe Creami (takes too long to process and I don’t use the drink/liquid options in it) and this new streamlined model is a subtle, but quite significant improvement on the original. It’s also not as loud as the other models, in my opinion. I don’t have the other two in the same house to compare side by side, but I am 99.99% sure this one is way less aggressive in noise level. It doesn’t do that abrupt jump to a louder, scarier sound half a minute in either.
Super easy to use. Instead of placing the pint inside of another compartment and then securing that in, all you need to do is screw the paddle lid onto the pint and twist it into the machine. It looks very nice on the counter and while it doesn’t actually take up dramatically less space than the original, the aesthetics and design of this new model make it appear much more compact.
Buy a few extra pints with lids and keep a variety of concoctions in the freezer. When you finish one, rinse the pint (also dishwasher safe) and prep a new one to pop in the freezer. Never ending supply of whatever flavor ice creams you want!
My top two favorites are super simple and tasty. Chocolate milk is one. Yes, that’s it. Just chocolate milk. Basically a ridiculous shortcut to ice cream. Mix it on lite ice cream followed by a quick re-spin and you’re good to go. Just ensure it’s not completely low (no) fat since it won’t be as creamy or thick. Stock up on the shelf stable Costco box – two of those fit exactly in one pint. The other mix is frozen fruit (smoothie mixes are great for this) and milk of your choice (I use vanilla soy milk). I think you’re supposed to blend the fruit and milk first, but I honestly just put it in the freezer as is and let the Creami blend it as it processes!

This makes some terrific ice cream, sorbet etc. I would recommend buying some extra pints so you can freeze a variety of flavors and spin them as needed. The variations are endless!

Owned for a week and already had a catistrophic failure. The pint exploded. Other than that the ice cream was great before this.
