I build around 15 to 20 small engine carburetors a month and this cleaner is perfect for them no residue after a good rinse and they can stay submerged for several hours and they don’t corrode. Very pleased with this product and they ship very quickly.

I had some old injectors that were not letting any gas through at all. Ten mins in ultrasonic with this liquid and they were spraying cones again. Great product but I left it in the machine overnight and it stained my tray up. Just an fyi clean up when done

I got this stuff because I had a carburetor for my 22″ Craftsman trim mower that was plugged up badly after about 15 or so years of use. Spray carb cleaners were ineffective and I was dismayed when I started pricing new mowers since they have gone up so much in the last few years. I’ve had an ultrasonic cleaner for a long time but the idea of emptying carb cleaner spray cans for close to a quart into the ultrasonic seemed a bit expensive and several local auto parts stores didn’t have any bulk cleaner for carbs in cans. An online search seemed to have few options and this one looked best and I was not disappointed. I don’t think it’s mentioned in the Amazon listing but the container informs that it is a concentrate and can be diluted at a five to one ratio. I did so at about two to one and it worked really well. All the rubber gaskets disintegrated but all the built up crud was totally dissolved. I had left the ultrasonic in an outbuilding overnight with the carb in it and I’ll bet that was much longer than needed. The float bowl was either pressed on and/or glued and came loose in the cleaner, which was heated, also after I had given up trying to muscle it off wrapped in rags and gripped with a large channel lock plier since it was aluminum and could only take so much plier force.
Note that the engine is a Briggs and Stratton and their site didn’t list an available replacement for the carb. I bought a Chinese replacement carb from a large local dealer. It is junk as gas just pours through it. It will be a gasket donor.
The bottom line is I now have probably a lifetime supply of an excellent ultrasonic cleaning liquid for myself and friends and neighbors for any kind of metal parts.

I always put off buying this because of the price but u had a few carbs to do this winter and thought I’d give it a go in the ultrasonic.
I did not realize it is concentrated as a 5 part water to 1 part cleaner. This stuff turns out to be a GREAT value and does a really nice job, I’ll definitely purchase again

Ok, maybe I’m too fussy, but when I put my 30 year old aluminum carburetor in the ultrasonic cleaner bath, I want it to come out bright, looking like aluminum, not like some dingy dirty color. As an ultrasonic newbie, I watched several YouTube reviews of cleaning solutions and tried some that were suggested as being cheap and not discoloring aluminum… Well, in my first try with a low-priced citrus based cleaning solution I turned the top of my carburetor from a dirty but bright object into a battleship grey ugly thing. So I went back to look online and found someone using this Ultrasonic Carburetor Cleaner product on their old carb and it turned out nice and bright. So I gave in and bought a gallon of this product. WOW it really worked!! The next parts I tried using this product all came out clean and bright!
In the attached pics, the first pic shows the grey top of the carb and the second pic is the bright bottom of the carb. Unfortunately I tried the top first with the el cheapo citrus cleaner. Both cleaners worked but only one left the surface unchanged. This is a very good product.

Works well, cleans everything, including aluminum very nicely. It’s important to note that the chromate finish on older carbs is damaged by this cleaner in an ultrasonic bath at 75 deg C, so caution is advisable unless you’re going to refinish.
MOTO DUCHARME –
its expensive but i find it works …i put about 1 part to 10 parts water and it cleans all my carbs pretty good..and the ultrasonic cleaner helps get those spots you might miss using spray cleaner so its worht it if you clean metal as much as i do.. just set it up and let it clean for 15 minutes while you do soemthing else.
