These are quality examples that I’ve given out for several years. Size, paper quality, writeability, the elastic cover closure, all are good features. Whether you are keeping track of one particular area of your life, or a daily record of what’s going on, or a workbook for ideas, concepts, brainstorming for a project, this will do the job. The cover is sturdy , pleasant to the touch and has a nice appearance. The binding appears to be glued rather than sewn but again seems to be fairly sturdy. I write with fountain pens so paper quality is fairly important .the paper is thick and does not have a problem with either pooling or feathering. Overall I would say that it is a high quality offering well suited to its purpose.

Ive bought those other expensive”1917″ journals, and the lines are college rule style, where these are more of a wide rule, you you can express yourself more in your creative styling , the paper is very sturdy, it has a nice yellow tint to it, so its easy on the eyes, it really everything those others do including the stickers to identify what is in the journal also the pocket in the back, minus the content page and foreign languge. These are really much better and worth the money 10x

Like another customer (“e”?) that recently reviewed this product, I have ordered and used these journals for YEARS and found them to be consistently amazing. HOWEVER, with this last batch, I have had two journals which were defective.
The problem was with the attached ribbon-bookmark, which (when it functions correctly) helps one easily get back to the page on which one was last writing. With the last two journals I have used, this ribbon-bookmark DETACHED from the journal within 3 uses. That is NOT okay.
I sure hope the manufacturer and/or vendor can correct this problem.
It sure was nice when we could count on these journals – when they were at least one thing in our lives with which there was not a problem critical to its function. I hope the manufacturer and/or vendor can make those days come again.

I purchased these many times and I find them to be the best basic journal that I use for my daily business agenda. I use them like a daily to do list and to jot notes thru the day. They are a nice compact size and come in pretty colors. I always get the 3 pack bc u write every single day and it’s nice to always have one on hand. Paper is thick and ink doesn’t bleed thru.

The price point is reasonable and I haven’t had issues with covers cracking or peeling like other lower cost “moleskin like” notebooks I’ve used previously. Will definitely reorder.
