My original review is below. I felt I needed to write a new review because I have gotten several customer questions. I have had it since 2014. It works very well. I have used it to heat a section of the bedroom, and it does well. My main use is to heat the bathroom before my dog gets bathed, and to put it near her kennel while she is drying. The same goes for the cats.
As with any portable heater, you need to make sure that you use it safely. You might google this subject. One thing that is also important, if you don’t store it in a cabinet, is to maintain the inlet an outlet clean. I vacuum it once in a while. Another question I received was about the wattage? It is concerning that the manufacturer does not include this information in the current description of the product. I looked at the sticker on the bottom of the heater. It is 1500 watts.

I bought this particular one because we use these at work and I know they work great. I like that it has a safety shut off if it’s knocked over since I have cats who knock over everything. It heats up so nicely, but you can also use it as a fan when it’s hot by not turning the heat on. It’s the perfect size for my nightstand on cold nights. It’s not noisy at all like some people are claiming. It’s the perfect little heater.

This little, space saving heater packs a powerful punch. As you may see from my pictures,I’ve had this for a few years now. It is a little dirty from use.. It heats 2 rooms in my house with ease. In the summer, you can even use it as a small fan. It has a temperature setting and also a fan speed setting of three. The temp setting is the best as you can set it and forget it. It also has an automatic shutoff feature. If it gets knocked over or picked up it will shut off. This is a great safety feature. It is safe around pets or children as it doesn’t get hot to the touch. Can’t beat this heater for the price. I just ordered another one for a family member.

I’ve had these units in the past and had no problems, but they’ve redesigned them from the ones I’ve had in the past. With the heavy winters, I decided it was easier to use these on low in the bedrooms. The problem is that I already had some that I’ve been using for several years, and recently ordered a set of three. One was broken in the box, but I did not see it in time for a refund. I chalked it up to a rough delivery. In that order of three I noticed later that the thermostat was broken on one of the other ones, and it would just stay on and not cycle. The knob would turn but there was no clicking noise and virtually no resistance, so the thermostat was disconnected somewhere in the knob. I figured this out after I ordered my last set of two. So I ordered two more, and, again, I did not take them out of the box and check them immediately like I should have and the thermostat on one of them seems to be harder to turn than it should and has a rough feeling when you turn it so I can’t trust it. Something has happened and quality control is not there. I’ll be searching for another brand. If you happen to buy these, you better check them the day you get it and make sure everything works perfect. Space heaters are already dangerous enough, so if everything isn’t perfect, I don’t recommend that you trust it and use it.

Bought the heater fan on March 23rd had it for less than 60 days (contacted Amazon on 6/12) notice that the plug was heating up in the fan / heater kept shutting off. The sockets in my house are not the issue but just to confirm we took the fan to a neighbors and plugged it in with the same result. Reached out to Amazon on three different occasions every single time all we received was the runaround and the representative informing us that we needed to reach out to the seller. Reached on to the seller on the Amazon Platform on 6/12; we were told that we should get a response within up to three business days, no response was ever received. Reached back out to Amazon who again gave us the runaround, disconnected the call and never reached out to us again. This item should have been refunded; it’s a potential fire hazard something that’s not functioning correctly especially when you have an elderly person using it is incredibly concerning. It’s also incredibly unprofessional for a company to not at least reach out and respond to you about a concern you’re having with one of their products. Buyer beware.
