This ceiling television mount is very easy to assemble and install. There is plenty of pivoting space that lets the user adjust the angle of the television. There is also an easy to use leveling feature. The only thing that I would have liked, is to have an included extra extension arm, for installations where you would like to drop the television down lower than the max length than this mount can do. Otherwise, this is a simple, easy to use, and lightweight ceiling mount that works very well.

Perfect for hanging new TV to exposed 2×8 deck ceiling joists. It is very sturdy, easily much stronger than necessary to support the TV, even stable in wind, while allow 360 degree swivel, making it easier to open and close the cover I bought through Amazon. It was relatively easy to assemble and mount, and the design is meant for having electric an cable running down the tube, for lean, now wire showing installation, giving a professional look.

This mount will not work on TV’s where the screw mounts on the back are more than 16″ wide. The instructions say 15.7″ is maximum, but my TV was exactly 16″ wide and I was right on the edge of it being too wide. There was nothing in the description that addressed this issue, so measure your TV before ordering this mount to make sure it will work for you. It is very well made, comes with almost everything you need to install (a stud finder is necessary if you’re mounting to ceiling joists, and I would also recommend a legitimate racket to use instead of the wrench that is supplied with the package), has good instructions and is not difficult to install. Depending on the size weight of TV you’re mounting, it may take two people to lift it into position. I was able to do everything myself. Highly recommend.
