Let me preface this by admitting that i *am* in fact a cat lady. I have four cats and I have four boxes to scoop, so not to brag or anything but I’ve spent a lot of time digging for “gold.” I have one cat in particular that loves to pee in the same spot, creating a pretty big chunk of pee litter. As you can imagine, I’ve broken a few cheap scoops which I is frustrating when you’re elbow deep in a litter box. I found this super scooper and love it! It is thick plastic and not cheap and unsteady feeling (which you know what I’m talking about if you’re scooping a big chunk). It can handle my sweet Norman’s massive pee clumps without a problem. The handle is also long so you don’t have to reach as far which I really appreciate.
I never imagined i would be leaving a 5 star review for a poop scooper, but here I am…telling you it’s worth it.

I ordered two of these and after using them I ordered eight more. I have two houses with five cats in each so I’ve used a lot of different scoops and these are terrific. I’m 80 years old and these are the sturdiest and best scoopers I’ve ever had. I can still bend over but I don’t have to bend as far with these. Comfortable covering on the long handle and can scoop more at a time than any I’ve had. I’m going to buy some more as gifts.

Easy on ur back, gets the job done without having to put your face in the litter box and deal with a lot of dust, etc. Durable plastic material lasts long time. I have three of these. I’ve gotten over the years and still use them all as I’ve gotten more kitties. Has nice rubber handle grip. Easy to clean and disinfect. The only thing I would change is having a straight edge to fully get all small particles.

This is a great scooper with a major design flaw. They break at the neck near the scooper. Luckily they are not very expensive so buying replacements does not break the bank but reinforcing the neck area would greatly increase their working life and make me a happy customer.

I use several large box litter trays with different clumping litter. I found the scoop had trouble with the clay based litter to dig through it probably as it is quite heavy.

I had to buy another one of these to replace the last. About one year into using it and the handle broke – right where the dark plastic meets the light. That said, this has to be the best scoop I’ve ever used.
The handle could still use some length, but I’ll take what I can get. It scoops well. It’s sturdy (but as said, will wear out in time) You have to get used to the front inch of the scoop as it’s solid and it takes time to get used to shaking the litter backwards into the scoop, but that’s a small thing for how well it works.
It takes less time because it plows through more litter in each scooping. I have four cats and two very large pans. If it takes me 2 minutes to do all of it that’s a long time.
The only improvement would be an even longer handle and sturdier material – it’s worth every penny. If you have only one cat and on box, it might last you years. I use it twice a day for the four cats and it holds up pretty well. I actually put some duct tape around the handle of this replacement one just in hopes it gives it a bit of a longer life.

I own an extra large cat litter box that contains a large volume of cat litter however I had started to struggle with a normal size and length litter scoop when trying to reach the rear of the litter box due to health problems and not being able to sit/twist in certain positions so when I saw this was available I bought it and am very happy with my purchase as I can reach the back of the litter box properly again. The only slight negative is the holes are quite large so anything small being removed can fall through the gaps however I get around this by dragging those bits to the front of the litter tray and using my smaller cat litter scoop so it does not bother me. Also it is really well made and feels sturdy so i doubt it will break anytime soon so yes I would recommend this product..
