This didn’t help with pulling at all. My girl just doesn’t care. Had to make it a lot smaller. Bought medium, she’s an Australian Cattle dog.

As a professional dog trainer I found this to be a great addition to the other collars that I use. Although it may not be as effective as some of the other collars, it does give you the “Goldilocks” option if you want something milder than most training collars. It works well if your dog is not a strong puller. Like any other collar, fit and knowing how to use it are critical! It’s also much easier to put on and take off than most other training collars. The best thing is to try it out and see how your dog responds to it.

We have two 8 mo old golden doodles , one needs a restricting collar at all times, but his brother just chewed off the rubber “prongs” within 2 days. Tried to return but apparently I didn’t do it in time . :/

The appearance was great and I was able to fit with ease but it didn’t stop my baby from pulling. Even with a correction the prongs didn’t affect her. I will say my dog is a Berniedoodle with long hair and thick skin. Maybe a short haired dog would do better.

It’s a promising collar but a bit large for my 1 year mix. He has a slender neck and can slip out if he’s being squirrelly so I will use it on my my other pup when she gets a bit bigger. I would say if you have a dog with a thick neck this would fit. It is not a harsh prong so little reminders to not pull don’t seem to cause pain like the old metal pronged collars back in the day.

I’ve only had it a few weeks, so I’m not sure about durability or sturdiness, but I’m sure it will give me years of use. What I did like is it’s a great tool in training your dog not to pull or yank while walking him with only a gentle reminder to behave. My dog loves it, as when she sees it she knows he’s going somewhere special and going anywhere is special.
Fully adjustable within the range of sizes, but get the one that is closest to but larger than your dog’s neck size.
