This rug is thin, easy to roll in and can be vacuumed. The sticky backing is great for keeping it in place. Second purchase because I made the mistake of moving it and dirt/dust got in sticky backing. No need to move items it stays flat in surface, recommend cleaning floor well and drying with towel so not to leave paper towel lint. Very durable material and size is perfect for under chair.

Just set mine up and it’s pretty much how I expected it to be. There’s a bit of resistance when moving my chair while sitting, but I suppose that’s expected with softer materials. The mat currently sticks fairly well to my wood floor with none of the edges lifting up – I’ll update if that ever changes. There were a bunch of folds across the mat, but they vanished after vacuuming up some dirt and hair the mat came with (not a huge deal but wasn’t great to see).

Flimsy and will not stretch out and lay flat

I ordered a two pack of these, and they are in two different applications.
One is placed on ceramic tile, which helps the chair roll very easily over the joints of the tile. The difference is remarkable. The other is placed in front of my recliner to cover a patch of carpet. That patch gets a lot of abuse, and I wanted to keep my wife happy by protecting that area from spills and everything else. It works
well as a barrier, but it does slide on the carpet. To be clear, the product info states that it is not for use on carpets. Overall, this seems like a good product. Giving 5 stars because I can’t fault a product if I use it differently than recommended.

Ich wollte eine Bodenschutzmatte für meinen Bürostuhl an meinem Schreibtisch, den ich täglich privat nutze. Da in meiner Wohnung ein hochwertiger Holzfußboden als Parkett verlegt ist, soll die Parkettoberfläche mit der Bodenschutzmatte geschützt werden.
Nachdem ich mir zunächst bei IKEA die Bodenschutzmatte (KOLON) angeschaut habe, musste ich feststellen, dass diese nicht für Hartböden mit Fußbodenheizung geeignet ist. Ich habe daher bei Amazon und anderen Anbietern Ausschau nach einem passenden Bodenschutz gehalten.
Nach längerer Suche und Auswertung der verschiedenen Angebote bin ich zur Überzeugung gelangt, dass Bodenschutzmatten aus Polycarbonat das für mich beste Produkt sind. Sowohl von der Stabilität als auch von der Lebensdauer scheint dies die beste Lösung zu sein. Die Bodenschutzmatte von Floordirekt PRO habe ich gewählt, da hier die größte Auswahlmöglichkeit bestand und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.
Beim Auspacken der Bodenschutzmatte, die eingerollt in einem großen Karton zugeschickt wurde, muss ich sagen, dass man dies natürlich alleine bewerkstelligen kann, besser wären aber vielleicht zwei Personen. Dies liegt zum einen daran, dass die Matte sich in ihre ursprüngliche Form ausbreiten will und die Kanten teilweise scharf sein können. Aber mit ein wenig Geschick klappt das auch alleine 😉
Die Bodenschutzmatte nutze ich jetzt seit ein paar Tagen und bin sehr zufrieden. Zwar sind die Maße nicht genau wie bestellt (120 x 150), sondern fallen mit 116,6 x 152,2 etwas unterschiedlich aus, das war bei mir aber kein Problem. Eine Folie an der glatten Unterseite war bei mir ebenfalls nicht vorhanden. Das Fahrverhalten meines Bürostuhls ist wunderbar auf der Bodenschutzmatte, so dass ich sehr zufrieden damit bin. Auch optisch hält die Matte was sie verspricht.

Ich habe mich nach einiger Recherche für diese Matte entschieden, um den neuen Dielenboden meines Büros zu schützen und bin bisher nach einigen Wochen Test sehr zufrieden damit.
Die Matte wurde erstens sehr schnell geliefert und war in einem flachen Riesenkarton zugestellt, was mir sehr gefiel, denn beim Auspacken war sie sofort gebrauchtsfähig und wies keine aufgerollten Ecken auf.
Die blaue Schutzfolie war schnell abgezogen und die Matte mit der geriffelten Seite unten liegt sehr sicher auf dem Boden auf. Mein Schreibtischstuhl rollt so leicht, als wäre nichts darunter und wenn man mal an die Kante kommt, ist diese so flach, daß es keinen “Absturz” gibt.
Das Material haftet so gut, daß es nicht verrutschen kann, auch wenn man mal schnellere Rollbewegungen mit dem Stuhl macht.
Bisher gibt es auch keine Klebe- oder sonstige Spuren von der Unterseite der Matte, daher denke ich, daß dies auch so bleiben wird.
Mein Fazit: ein sehr gutes Produkt, das als Unterlage für zu schützende Böden perfekt seinen Dienst tut. Die Transparenz ist hoch genug, daß man zwar sieht, daß hier eine Matte liegt, es aber nicht dem Gesamteindruck des Bodens stört.
Ich kann das Produkt aus meiner Erfahrung also nur empfehlen!
