I’ve been using this as my range bag for a bunch of months now, and I think it’s just about the perfect size for the job.
– The compartment up top can hold a good amount of gear in there. I leave an extra set of ear protection in there (full size), at least a box or two of 100 rounds, and two sets of eye protection every time I go to the range
– The magazine pockets are a bit loose (so your mags may poke out a bit, which isn’t a concern of them falling out, just people can sometimes see you have loaded mags being carried around to/from the car)
– My Glock 34, which is about the size of a 1911, fits snuggly in the gun pocket despite it’s bigger frame (but it wouldn’t fit much bigger)
– The side pocket holds my standard ear protection (little ear plugs)
The bag is really sturdy and it holds everything I need it to for quick trips to the range. What more could I ask for?
I’d advise someone to look at a different bag if you’re planning on bringing a full size set of ear protection and a lot of ammo, as you can probably only hold about 300 rounds in there with the ear protection in the main top compartment before you run out of room to put your eye protection.
Great for quick little trips, probably not what you’re looking for if you’re planning on spending hours and hours at the range unless you’re buying your ammo there.

This bag is perfect for on outing at the range. It holds my M&P 40 on one side and my M&P 40 shield on the other with no problems. Front pocket holds my speed loader while the magazine pouches hold all my magazines. One mag in each pistol, two shield mags in a single pouch and one each 40 mag in the other two pouches. Case holds about six boxes of ammo (still in the boxes) so will probably hold more if I just dumped it out but I also have a large box of .22 ammo in there as well, with room to space. I was hoping for enough room for my eyes and ears but loading this much in to this bag almost maxes is it out but there is a little room to spare. Overall a great purchase.

So I read the raving reviews on this range bag and decided to buy one. Wasn’t sure this was really what I wanted/needed, but I needed a functional range bag. As soon as I took it out of the box I liked it. Liked a whole lot more once I actually checked it out.
For me this is exactly what I was looking for. It has plenty of room in the several pockets. Wish it actually had magazine holders, but its not a deal breaker for me. This will easily accommodate several 50 boxes of 9mm ammo; hearing protection; wipe down rag; and necessary swabs, gun grease, bore snake etc. I conceal carry my weapon to and from the range, but on occasion I bring along a wheel gun which will fit nicely in the padded gun pocket. Very impressed with this item.

Works very well for my basic needs. I can get my glasses, ear protection and 1 box of 40 cal. ammo inside. I think I can squeeze 2 boxes of 9mm in. My large frame pistol fits fine in the side pocket and I can put the 9mm in the other. The 3 mag pockets are huge though. My double stack 40 mags flop around a lot, but I can put 2 single stack 9mm mags in one pocket. The end pockets are good for my speed loader and mini tool kit. However, it carries lopsided with just the 40 and will be almost balanced with the 9mm on the other side. Overall it is a good basic range bag, and if I hang my ear protectors on the strap and carry my glasses, I can get plenty of ammo inside.

Comes as shown and has the perfect amount of space for ear protection, magazines, and such. The case is smaller than others but with the intended use of storing ammunition for a handgun at the range its enough. My only complaint is the sleeve shown above that the handgun is supposedly meant to be kept is quite small. I have a compact CZ and it just barely fits in.

it’s the perfect bag to store and take 1, maybe 2 pistols with you.
We have 2. We each store our 40s in it with enough bullets for some shooting, our goggles, ear muffs, extra cartridges, and bullet loader, a little gun oil.
We decide to go… its ready for us to walk out the door.
Easy to handle… either with the short handle or over the shoulder. Very well made.
This is not secure enough to protect from chikdren.

Perfect for my 1911. Ammo case holds 5 -50 round boxes. Great for traveling and easy to handle with the shoulder strap.

Looks to be very well built. Lots of pockets for mags and other range stuff.
Mine was missing the shoulder carry strap, still good buy.
