la custodia è bella, ma manca della chiusura lampo che doveva essere presente nella parte più esterna del porta spartiti, come da foto in effetti! ho visto anche sul sito della Reunion Blues, e la chiusura lampo è sempre presente. Evidentemente mi è arrivato un modello vecchio, può starci, ma allora la foto doveva essere diversa!!! credo che Amazon dovrebbe fare delle verifiche in tal senso a seguito di questa mia segnalazione. Vedremo.

約１年間使用した感想です。 現在ギブソンES335とmomose MES-1 STD（セミアコタイプ）で使用中です。 最初はケースとしては高価なものになるため購入を躊躇していましたが、やはり大切な愛器の安全な運搬を考慮し思い切りました。 結果は大正解です。 とにかくハードケース並みに頑丈で、これなら運搬中のトラブルはよっぽどの事が無い限り無いと思います。 よく電車の乗降時、開いたドアの上部分にケースの頭をうっかりぶつけてしまうのですが、このケースなら安心です。 背負った感じも最初ビックリするほど楽でした。 やはりソフトケースなどに比べれば本体はちょっと重いですが、実際に背負ってみると全然その重さを感じさせません。 色が黒なので、多少汚れが気になる方もいらっしゃるかも知れません。 また、チャック全開にしても蓋を大きく広げるのは難しいです。 しかし、そこが逆に収納時のフィット感につながり安心です。 またネックレストにマジックテープで固定出来る仕組みがあり、これも気に入っています。 悲惨なネック折れなどの目に会うことを考えたら、この投資は健全であると思います。

I feel like I’m some kind of 20 year veteran of the guitar world with this damn thing. It’s so sturdy, so stellar, so nice looking, so versatile, and so cool looking. Seriously, this is the end all be all company for any guitar case you want to buy, and a freaking truck couldn’t harm your guitar in this thing. Probably.
Straight up, I’m not using anyone but Reunion Blues for my cases anymore.

Despite being made in the people’s republic, Reunion Blues is still putting out a few nice pieces. I was intrigued by the video of a dude chucking a guitar off a roof in this case – twice – with the axe surviving both trips. The case is light-ish and has a very slick way to tuck the backpack straps into a hidden compartment so it can be carried by the traditional case-handle without the backpack straps dragging in the dirt. Classy satiny blue quilted interior and stiff reinforcement layer has my trust more than most bags. I wouldn’t suggest trying the rooftop stunt at home, but I wouldn’t hesitate to bring this on a bus/subway without worrying about the occasional bump and nudge. If you’re gonna go bag instead of hard case – it’d be hard to beat this one.

Fits my kestrel bass very well. Neck is well supported and doesn’t feel like its flopping around in the case. Handle is beefy, well balanced, and comfortable to cary. Back pack straps useful when both hands needed for carrying other gear, but they store out of the way when not needed. I can easily fit a 1.5 inch binder and 25 foot cable in the outside zippered pocket. Inside of case is plush and cushy, outside is tough fabric. Lots of firm padding all around. Materials and workmanship are very good. Zippers are usually the first thing that wear out or break on my other cases, this one looks substantial and opens/closes without a fuss. Heavier and bulkier than inexpensive gig bags, but it looks like it provides a lot more protection. I don’t freak out if someone grabs it and throws it in the back of the van. I would buy again.

Very good case. It’s easy to miss but this midnight is missing some of the nice features that the regular continental case has. It does not have the neck brace strap, it does not have the headstock pocket, it does not have the “laptop” pocket on the front and the front pocket does not have the layout shown in the videos with the 3 pouches for pedals. I would return this to get the regular continental case but I used amazon credit to pay for this and amazon doesn’t seem to have the regular continental case for electric guitar. Still amazing protection, much lighter than most hardshell gig bags and the backpack straps are very convenient.

J’ai longtemps hésité à investir dans une housse haut de gamme (je transportais mes instruments dans des housses de bonne qualité et bien rembourrée mais dont le prix était autour d’une cinquantaine d’euros).
Ayant acquis une (très) belle guitare récemment, livré dans un flight case trop lourd et encombrant pour permettre un transport réguilier de l’instrument, j’ai fini par franchir le pas et je ne le regrette absolument pas.
La qualité de finition de cette housse dépasse l’entendement et je suis épaté par l’attention aux détails. Et bien sûr, la protection de l’instrument est incroyable, il ne risque rien clairement rien d’arriver à votre guitare fétiche. Je ne suis pas aller vérifier si, avec cette housse, la guitare résiste effectivement à une chute de 3 étage comme dans la vidéo de présentation de cette housse sur le site Reunion Blues… mais c’est plausible 😉

Most gig bags are a tradeoff between protection of the guitar or bass versus the weight and dimensions of a hard case. The Reunion Blues Continental Bass Case eliminates that tradeoff, in my opinion. This is the second of these cases I have purchased after using the first for about 18 months, not as a replacement, but as an addition. The case offers significant protection of the instrument (see the drop tests on their web site) but with the ease of transportation of a gig bag. All parts of the instrument are protected, with an internal strap and neck support to hold it securely in place within the padded bag. While it isn’t an ATA flight case, neither is a normal hard case. The case fits a variety of basses, whether long, medium or short scale length. Interior dimensions are approximately 15″ for lower bout, 13″ for upper bout and 48″ for length, although the case is flexible enough to cheat these slightly, if necessary. Thoughtful features include several pockets for strap, cord, accessories, iPad, etc as well as a well placed hand-hold on the back to lift the case vertically if necessary. Backpack type straps fold into zippered pockets when not in use. Zippers have been improved since my first one and operate more smoothly. The Midnight Black edition replaces the blue trim / accents of the regular edition with black, as well as using black hardware instead of chrome. Highly recommended.

A real Cadillac bag – I am comfortable putting my prized Martin in it for a subway trip in the New England winter. The insulation is much better than most gig bags but not quite up to the standards of a good hard shell. If it’s really cold, you will want to let it sit at room temp for 30 minutes or so to let your instrument slowly equilibrate.
Plenty of useful pockets and very durable construction make this bag just about perfect. I would like to have a sternum strap for the backpack straps and would love for it to be lighter – but that would either come at the cost of reduced protection or a higher price. I’ll take it the way it is, thanks.

if you are seeking a lightweight / soft gigbag, chances are you are not doing too many gigs – for those who take their guitar wherever they go – this is a must! This guitar CASE is to protect the guitar from weather , accidental knockover and being crushed .
I have a top line guitar in my case and it is far better to travel now than with the usual “tweed” case i had to lug around- with all respect to someone carrying a lesser quality guitar (shecter) it will still protect the guitar and store a lot of accessories.
