Synopsis:
Good price, decent quality, color is a bit brighter than most greens of this type (Ranger Green).
Initial impressions:
The packaging is budget, but protected the product fine. I don’t think many would be giving a cheap rubber type watch band as a gift, so who cares about the packaging. All parts were included and nothing was missing. Parts were: the band in 2 parts, buckle assembly, retainer loop, 2 allen/hex keys. No obvious odor detected and no manufacturing defects noted. The color was brighter than other olive or Ranger Green items (knocking off a star for that).
Install/Use:
My install/replacement was on a G-Shock clone (M-Tac). Installation wasn’t too difficult but took some effort to get everything lined up for the original watch pins. I did not have to modify or trim anything. Once installed it worked fine. I did note the flexibility around the pin wasn’t as good as my original but did not cause any problems. The band was comfortable and I’ve worn it without removal for about a week including showers and in the pool. Zero problems so far, though the color does bother me a little bit. I’m glad to have my cheapo M-Tac watch back in action though. Maybe one day I’ll get something nicer like a Rangeman or Garmin, but for now this is my only digital watch. Even though it’s cheap, I like it enough to not wear my expensive Navy Seal dive watch that costs about 27 times more. That is to point out the coloring issue isn’t that off putting as to totally not use it.

This is a great strap and well-made. It fits my Mudman perfectly. A little tricky to get on at first but much easier after I took the back off the watch. recommended.

I ordered this to try to make it fit a non-Casio watch that was 24mm at the lugs. Unfortunately, this strap is pretty much only useable for the Casio due to the fitted nature of the lug attachment. Feels and looks like a decent strap in person, although I don’t know how the original Mudmaster straps looked or felt…

Purchased blue, green and black for GG-1000 Mudmaster. Love the color of all three, I have the blue on now as it’s my favorite. Definitely makes the watch look a lot less militaristic. The pins were a difficult to install due to bits of material protruding from the edges of the holes. A quick pass with the flame of a lighter melted them away. The lug bolts installed perfectly.

The band will not fit any watch you have. The rubber didn’t feel like real rubber and I think over time it will probably break from taking it off and on. The clasp was also very cheaply made in my opinion. It also came with 2 Allen wrenches, I have no idea what they are for. The band has 2 holes in it, one was tight for the post that came with the watch, and the other was so narrow I couldn’t even get a straight pin to go into it. You get what you pay for.

For the price this is hard to beat. Visually it’s almost identical to the original but doesn’t quite feel as hefty as the one that came with my Mudmaster but it’s close. Comes with keys to remove original. You may need to take the back off in the process after which the replacement is easy and quick. Put side by side the width and length and strap holes, clasp, form etc look almost spot on. It seems overkill to go into detail at this price. If your watch falls into the compatible list, I recommend getting one.

Quality is inferior to original Mudmaster strap on my GWG-100. Does not look as good in real life as the pictures.
The holes for the pins do not come close to alignment – the hole is in the wrong place on the new strap. Only one end of one of the provided Allen wrenches actually fit correctly into the hole.
Avoid. You’ve been warned.
