I just received the product today and noticed several broken pixels on the right- and left-top corners. The monitor by itself was really good and high-tech with several useful features, but this issue made me disappointed. You should check the monitor with a white background to make sure everything is fine.

• The OS included with the TV is really really good, it detected my Xbox Series with the logo on it ! Don’t need to program it btw ! Not at all 5/5
The best reason to buy this tv is for the really solid & minimalist stand and the slim design ! Don’t think it’s better than the other TV at the price, but the very slim screen and the stand is a must for a studio or for gaming
But for a PC monitor it’s just not it…

Wanted to give this display a try after reading some promising reviews; the idea of a “smart monitor” was interesting to me. I’ve purchased and used several Samsung displays throughout the years and have been happy with them. This device seemed like a good fit for a home office where having a larger TV was not an option. The picture quality is great, and the sound is rather clear for a display. Not sure I’ll use much of the streaming content available but having that capability/flexibility is really nice.
I would certainly recommend this to anyone who was in the market for a good quality display where space might be limited. It’s priced reasonably well, and is packed full of features. The signature Samsung quality is present in this model and, unlike traditional smart TV’s, this could be used as a remote-less computer monitor for closer viewing angles. It’s a nice idea for those of us who might use HTPC’s, laptops, or other small form factor PC’s in our living rooms or home offices.

Just received & connected everything up to replace an LG 4k monitor. The Samsung is larger and easier on the eyes, but there’s a pretty serious drawback: the supplied stand does not allow the monitor height nor viewing angle adjustments, which is a serious drawback to its use as a monitor. On my desk, which is height adjusted so my keyboard is at a comfortable position (no separate keyboard tray), I find that I’m looking down a bit — neutral straight ahead viewing would have me looking at a spot maybe 1/10th or less of the height from the top of the screen.
My primary use for this is as a monitor, and I used to use the LG’s analog audio out port to drive some external speakers, including a subwoofer. Now my audio is a little less nice, by default, though I can have my computers drive a USB audio dongle that feeds my pre-existing audio system. I haven’t tried this, and am a little worried about picture/audio sync. I do also have a Chromecast attached to the second HDMI input and intend to use that for my 4k streaming needs (Chrome on the computer won’t stream 4k content), rather than the built-in Tizen-based stuff. The Chromecast was already set up, and I don’t see a need to trust yet another IoT device.

This monitor is no good. First, you must sign up for a Samsung account to even adjust the input source. That’s awful, but I was willing to overlook it if the picture quality was good. It’s not. This is essentially a TV. Can’t be used for work. The color is completely different at the edges than in the center of the screen. The “center” is a pretty small area, too.
Returning and I’ll pay more for something better.

Don’t hesitate to purchase if you’re in the market for a bigger monitor. You won’t be disappointed A+++ 4K picture quality. The Samsung $349 monitor holds its own against my 50″ LG OLED $1000 TV now that’s mind blowing. If you’re own the fence, get off and make this purchase!!!

I was looking for a 32″ 4k monitor and for the money thought the additional Smart TV features were useful enough since its going in a bedroom with no TV. Samsung includes a USB-C cable and an HDMI cable in the box, however, despite testing on multiple devices, the USB-C cable is not thunderbolt rated / USB 3.2 Gen 2 20 Gbps as stated in their own manual to use as a monitor. I wasn’t sure if something was malfunctioning or defective as my laptop was simply was not detecting the display and would only charge for a second or two before disconnecting and reconnecting. Effectively the USB-C cable is useless, not sure why its there if it can’t even charge a device. Similarly, the HDMI cable is also not good enough for 4k 60hz and limits a connected device to 30hz with pretty frequent drop outs. Replacing the cable fixed the issue immediately, but the USB-c cable was another $30 I had to spend unexpectedly. I needed something set up relatively quickly but if I had the time, I would return this and just get a simple 4k monitor, included cables or not. Also, I can’t say anything good about the Samsung smart TV OS it comes with. It requires a samsung account and once set up defaults to some “For me” page full of “personalized content” that I really don’t care for or need. Navigating to Netflix or Prime Video takes quite a few clicks and ads to dodge, not a welcome experience on a $300 monitor. Luckily, once it is all set up the monitor does just go straight to PC display mode when waking a connected device, but the For me page is unavoidable if navigating back to the home screen. Also, kind of limiting as a TV since the speakers are quite weak and there is no audio out aside from bluetooth, not the most practical.
In terms of display quality it does the job, looks like a quality IPS panel but could be a bit brighter. The unit itself looks nice with a white stand and back but it does not rotate or tilt side to side. Not listed in the specs here is that it charges up to 65W via USB-c, sufficient for almost all laptops. If the cable was correct, would revise to 5 stars since I kind of expected a clunky smart TV experience but it was quite annoying for a premium product specifically designed for USB-C display support to include a cheap incompatible cables with no notice. After doing a bit of research on the cables here on Amazon, I would recommend Cable Matters, they also have a white thunderbolt rated one.
