The chairs were reasonably easy to assemble however some holes were missing for some screws , so they had to be drilled. The bottom bars on one of the chairs wouldn’t tighten up so we had to re drill the hole and use wood glue. I do like these chairs, they are not very heavy but heavy enough. I’m using them at my kitchen island counter. I would not put too much pressure on the bottom stabilizing bars as you would on bar stools because they don’t seem strong enough not to break. The stools are a good height though. I am 5’2” and I can hop on easily without stepping on that bar.

We ordered 2 packages, (4 bar stools), however, they are not barstools, they are only regular chair height. Don’t be fooled by the poor naming of the product. One package is damaged but things seem to all be there. Haven’t assembled yet.

These chairs are great quality and replacing chairs I had for years that had fabric seating and hoping reupholster them buts these have one just bought have Faux leather and look great and comfortable. Matches table I had for years by Designs by Ashley.

Cushions are little hard but I am sure they will soften with use, a little firmness never hurts. The instructions were a little clear but could have done a better job from step 2 to 4. The side railing are a nightmare to get on due to the slant design. other than that the chairs were easy to put together. A really good deal compared to the mfr website.

Super high quality chairs! The padding is firm but soft so it won’t break down after a year or so. The chairs are sturdy and went together well.

Both chairs wobble a bit. We will pick up some felt pads for the legs to try to fix that. The design would be way sturdier if the horizontal support bars below the seat had 2 pegs on each side going into the legs, to stabilize their position. But they only have 1 peg so they can rotate as you’re screwing them in, and the different rotation of each bar leads to unevenness in the position of the legs.
Also one of the guide holes for a screw was so mis-targeted that the screw burst through the side of the support bar before going into the leg. There’s a half-inch chunk punched out of the wood there and you can see the screw, on the left side of the chair.
Is this acceptable quality for $144? I don’t think so. We’ll see how it feels to sit on it over time.
