The average person can’t put these together. It took at least 2 hours per chair. I almost stripped the bolts several times. Tried to use a power tool and then would for sure strip the bolt. Nice quality. Should last a really long time. Looks pretty. Just was so hard to assemble. I ordered the love seat and cocktail table. I found the matching dinning set on Overstock that hasn’t come yet. Might have to bring in someone more patient than me to assemble.

***update*** 4.12.23*** at first I loved it.. I purchased because I like the wood look but didn’t want wood…This piece and the others are not worth the price..after only one year it has discoloration water marks and sun.. and the coffee table is sinking like it’s melting in the middle. This should not be marketed for outdoors The dining table has screws falling out of it… The total purchase is over 5k and this should not be happening*** don’t buy .. I had a metal set for over 20 years and no problem it was dated but still in good use my sister is using it. And it was only $300 I cannot say that this will even last.

The chairs arrived sooner than expected which was a pleasant surprise . They were not complicated to put together but I can’t image just using the included allen wrench- we used a drill which unfortunately stripped a few of the screws. We had to buy some new screws and all is good. The chairs are wide and comfortable. The bottom cushion is firm and the back cushion gives plenty of support . I am pleased with the purchase.

The chairs arrived quickly – a week after ordering on Prime Day. I assembled one (process was relatively straightforward), but then discovered the hardware was missing for the second chair. I called Ashley Home and was told that it would be 10-14 days to ship the missing hardware. More than two weeks passed, so I called again in early August and was told that it would be at least late August before they would arrive. It’s a pack of screws, but impossible to find replacements. Now we have to wait another month before we can assemble the second chair. Update. Just called on Sept. 2 and was told “end of October” for the missing hardware. This is not acceptable.

We use these chairs on an uncovered patio so we don’t leave the cushions out all the time. They are attractive, sturdy, and comfortable if you like a firm cushion (we do!). We started to put the first chair together with the Allen wrench provided but that was arduous. Using a drill (gently) to finish the first chair and completely put together the second chair slashed the time to assemble by multiples. Would definitely Ashley products buy again.

The chairs are lovely once put together. I did it myself which took a long time. The downside to this product is that after toiling to get all the screws in place and tightened, I couldn’t finish putting the second chair together because one of the screws had a flat head and could not be used. So now I have a chair with no arm. For the money we spent on this set, the pieces used to assemble it should have been better quality and/or there should have been extra screws for this instance.
