If we have a stove or microwave we don’t really NEED one of these. But I WANTED one! This size is perfect for 1 cup of tea or more when needed. It heats up the water faster than any other method. The one thing I wish it had was a sound when it’s done because you have to listen for the lever to go back up, signaling it’s done. Other than that, it’s perfect. The outside stays cool to touch which is appreciated because I scalded my skin on a regular tea kettle before I bought this. For me it’s everything I wanted.

Yes it’s just as beautiful in person. We use this thing pretty religiously. We first saw it in an air bnb in France and had to have it!
After reading tons of reviews and wondering if it was worth it, the time difference for kettles ranges pretty widely.
So the choice between 7 minute and two minutes was pretty clear. We’ve had this for over a year and never thought to time it.
To be honest, before making this video I wondering if it really was that fast, as time moves differently when you cook and this thing is a life saver for that.
Today we got our answer and yup, over a year later, still worth every penny.

The kettle looks beautiful on the counter. Then I noticed the inside rusted just after 11 months of use, I didn’t know when the rust started. Contacted their customer service via both email and phone call, nobody replied or called back. Didn’t expect a $150 kettle only lasts for 11 months.
Follow-up: After getting no replies to my emails and no call-backs from their so called “call back” system, I call their customer service again and insisted waiting online and finally talked to someone. That person forwarded me to their warranty team. A woman on the team took my email and said she would send me forms. The woman was VERY VERY rude. I’ve never talked to a customer service this mad. She sounded she couldn’t wait to get off the phone from the time she started to talk. What a shame to the brand.

This purchase was definitely a want and not a need. There’s plenty of options on the market but the retro look got my money. I like that it’s small and makes enough water for myself for my tea and coffee addiction. I like the auto shut off, I like the size, I like the style, I like how it makes me feel. I feel proud to own it.
What I don’t like was the price! Very very expensive. And one improvement it needs is the lid is a bit awkward to open. You basically have to pull the lid hard to open it and it feels like it can be yanked off completely. Wish they added a quick release button on top like they did was the larger kettles.
When I first got it, it had this scratch on it and I was going to return it. But I showed it to my friend and she couldn’t even see it. So, I kept it and now I don’t even notice any blemishes now. The kettle is used daily and I haven’t had any issues with it. I hope this kettle lasts as long as my old one, which was over 10 yesterday old…
