I’m surprised by the quality. The pedals feel solid, well built, and relatively responsive. I can feel I slight hesitation in the left pedal that seems like it’s tied to the u-joints in the extension rod. Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality for the price. It’s on par with any of the name brand pedals that cost 1.5x to 2x more.

I didn’t get this for this for me since I have no clue when it comes to things like this. I got it for my fiancé who loves drums. He’s been wanting a double bass pedal for a while but hasn’t got one. So when I saw this, I knew he would love it. He said for a brand that isn’t known, it’s really good and feels great when he plays. Like I said, I dont know the first thing when it comes to this so I dont know the good and the bad with this. But of my drum lover fiance thinks they’re good, they must be.

For an anonymous brand this is nicely engineered and a rugged enough build for some serious footwork. It’s my first go round with a double bass set up. This one took some adjustments and tweaks to get everything comfortable. There’s definitely a personal comfort zone in involved. Don’t be discouraged if it’s not easy out of the box. You can adjust everything to a nice custom fit for your style. I’m quite happy with this.

First, I must say I’m not a pro drummer and don’t have many other pedals to compare this to. With that said, I found this pedal to perform great for me. It went together easily with plenty of adjustability. It responds well on both pedals and appears to be well-made. Feels solid and locks to my drum perfectly. It came with a tuning key that fits all the adjustable parts on the pedal and my drum heads.

The media could not be loaded.
Wasn’t sure what to expect from a brandless pedal of an online megastore, but this thing is pretty serious business! It’s hard for me to really evaluate the left hand (errr… foot…) action because I have approximately zero kick drum practice with it up to this point.
But the main pedal gave me no trouble really, a little different feel but I was going in no time with no complaints. Since the sidecar one is ± the exact same hardware connected through a solid metal linkage, I suspect it’s just fine too and it’s my hi-hat foot that’s dragging it down. (Note though that the left pedal ends up with TWO springs on it for whatever reason, which I dialed back so they kind of split the difference.)
Note that I keep saying “left” pedal and that does seem to always be the case — I don’t see a way to swap this out for swapped-up drum kits (which I suspect are rather rare anyway?) since the bracket for the left hinge is threaded into an assembly that would need to be drilled/tapped out on the opposite side just for starters. Fine by me but figured I’d mention it in case anyone was wondering.
The linkage is modestly adjustable — on both ends there’s a few inches each you can run out or in to accommodate the exact placement you want within those limits. All the main bits can be done with just a standard drum key. I’m not a huge fan of the sideways clamp adjustment for the bass hoop but it’s an interesting mechanism — might have been nicer for most folks if it came out the right hand side.
