It works both on suck and blue really well. The Battery life could be 10 minutes longer, but nit bad overall.

I just sold a Stihl backpack two-stroke gas powered blower that I have used for years. This thing was commercial grade and a beast! So, I am spoiled in the leaf blower department. I have a lawn mower and snow blower from the same line, so I wanted something with the same batteries. This thing arrived today and I immediately went to try it out. It is light and powerful. It easily pulled up the wet leaf mats that had been in corners and in raised beds all winter. I am so glad I switched! I haven’t tried the vacuum function and I doubt I will. I’ll just blow junk into the grass and mow it up 😀 I totally recommend this guy!!

1. You find yourself moving the end side to side more than forwards and backwards so the wheels are useless.
2. If sucking wet leave your pants will be drenched after the first bag is full.
3. You know when the battery is about to die because it clogs frequently just before cut out.
4. At 16 pounds it gets heavy quick.
This is for someone with few leaves that can get the job done in 2 bags before a recharge.

This is the second Snow/Sun Joe product I purchased. Both had battery issues. This one however, came with bad batteries that customer support will not replace. Customer support requires a serial number. My unit has no serial number on it (the sticker is missing). When confronting customer support with multiple pictures showing that this sticker is missing, it was the end of all support. I received no reply and every e-mail I have sent afterwards is ignored.

Make sure you snap the batteries in all the way. I like it. It has good enough power for pine needles and it is much more convenient than my electric corded or a gas blower so I use it more. I allow have a snow joe snow blower and the batteries are compatible.
